Yes you can choose the final locations, I just gave you the general areas the station should be located, and i chose the areas with the highest density of crime. Hope two stations wont have a large impact on the city budget, but there was a lot of crime to contain. o.O

i propose that the road to the the rhw be upgraded to avenue, and the main road for the area that sits on the resort district be fully upgraded to a avenue.

also i will like to ask the dot about busline expansion into the area.

DTP: Yeah, I just finished them now...

Here is my request;

26XRegionshot.jpg

1. That is where I'd like my village, Nipigon Island will pay for the roads to and in the town, and the hole town.

2. That is where I would like my water treatment plant.

3. Maybe that could be a water reserve... Nothing that can harm the water is allowed near there.

I wouldn't recommend that school because it has a orange sports field that is just (no offence to the author) ugly. And it's a huge ugly field. If you LE away that thing, it wouldn't be too bad. Or, you could use one of SG's schools, which are kinda big, but really great!

Hahayoudied: Yes it has!

Spore415: How do those people have such good health with no coverage! Yes, and I would suggest putting an elementary school in where you think it should be. We might need a finance department soon!

Looks like Virgin Shores might get two new towns. This is a boom town scenario!

Well it looks like I got a proposal to work on lol, and congrats to all council members, new and old, and of course to our mayor DTP for leading us to this point in time. Plus, I would like to thank everyone who voted me in for a second term. This last month and a half has been very hard, and I never thought I would be back so quick, so thanks for all of your support. Let this be the beginning to a new chapter for Virgin Shores!!!!!

That looks very good, un1.  This will help us keep that fresh, clean water that VS is known for.  I also like that feeling of growth that I'm sensing in VS.  Keep up the good work, everyone.

Wright Industries has been working on a new Hydrogen Reactor for several years, it's clean, efficient, and powerful. We just built our first prototype and it should be coming online any day now. We'd like you to consider Hydrogen power as a source of future energy for Virgin Shores. There is only one problem, cost. The thing is bloody expensive, $100,000 to build and an additional $10,000 a month to run the darn thing, But it should pay for itself in the long run. If you build it you won't have to build another powerplant for at least 20 years, and cost can be scaled back to meet demand. even if you don't build this plant, keep it in mind for the future.

Nick:  I thought there was an economic crisis going on!  OIt certainly doesn't seem to be affecting your development company much!

First picture - residential development in the north: Approved - Low density

#2: Approved - Low density with either sound walls or a tree filled buffer between the highway and the new homes.

#3: Patricius Maximus voiced some concerns over the transport issues. Until we hear from the DOT regarding your revisions, I can't approve this proposal.

For quick reference  - Nick's transport revision to the DOT:

Thanks for the region  view.  It's nice.

One thing I noticed; there aren't many farmers in Virgin Shores, though there seems to be lots of prime farmland available.  Do you think it would be a good Idea to attract farmers to the region?  It looks like Virgin Shores imports most of its food at present.

i second psander's notion. i too think that we should include alot more farms to support VS's inhabitants. I Propose either expanding either the current agricultural areas, or,  making more around Un1's Nipigon Township.

Hi deathtopumpkins,

I really like this CJ and think it's amazing.

I would like to apply for a position on the council as:   head of the department for the supply of departmental offiice supplies!!!

(It sorta has a ring to it!!)

I would make sure that everyone had enough lead in their pencils and coffee in their mugs!!

spore: Wow, a plan already! You're all over this job.

New school: location APPROVED, though the BAT's kinda ugly... how about one of jbsimo's or simgoober's schools?

New hospital: APPROVED. SimGoober's Rural Hospital should be the best fit there, I'd say.

Mike: OK, they'll be built for next update.

Nick: Hmmm... I'd upgrade the road to VS-1 to a road, and New Sibelus Ln. to an avenue, and that should be fine.

    TimeMaster: In the photobucket... STsigbanner.jpg

un1: Hmmm... I could make the whole crater a park reserve, and the village should do fine, but I'm a little curious about the water treatment plant... aren't those supposed to go where there's pollution? Though I guess I could do it.

sim-Al2: Really? Ewww... OK, I second not using it.

    Hahayoudied: Thanks.

TimeMaster: shhhh... that's secret! 2.gif Actually, I really don't know.

spore: It's fine by me. Beides, what you say goes in regards to your department.

Mike: I know, I wonder what it will do to demand?

crazyarchitect: yes it looks like you do! And thank you very much for that speech.

metarvo: Thanks. It is growing quite a bit...

Mr. Wright: Hmmm... I haven't actually had much luck with hydrogen power in other cities. I have one that actually earned it, and it was not very cost-effective and didn't last very long.

We still might consider it though.

psander: Heh, nothing could slow down IHG!

Glad those were approved, and they'll be started for next update.

Oh, I should build more farms shouldn't I? I guess it's something to fill up the land along the spur to the refinery with.

nihonkaranws: Oh, sure! I'd love that! Might be something in it for you too...

    Hampi: Ooh... a proposal.

spore: That'd be another good location for them.

Nick: Which is why we don't grow much, though it would be better to reduce our dependence on imported food.

Hampi: Yay! A Hampian proposal! 2.gif

#1- That area's already been planned out, sorry. You could probably move it a bit north though and it'd be OK.

    #2- Same as #1.

#3- Good, I think we need a park around there.

    #4- that should be OK.

thefunktopus: Heh, OK, that'd be a nice "unofficial" positon. Welcome aboard.

spore: Yes, jbsimo's or simgoober's. They're what I usually use.

as u.c head i do not support hydergon power, and i doubt i will. it is a opition but it isnt very cost effective, espically for this area.

also ill like ot say if any powerplant is built in the virgin shores area it will be under virgin shores power.

Can I make rules for zoning and putting stuff near water? As I am head of the water resources. 9.gif

    1. Thanks!

    2. Maybe that could be the sewage treatment plant, and we could put the water treatement near the port? 2.gif

    3. Sure.

To answer Ntq's question on page 59, I shall look into mass transit options, and expand the networks where it will benefit.

The transport solution as proposed by Ntq310 is Approved by the DOT.

The DOT leaves it up to the Mayor as to the exact placement of bus stops, but all of Zone 3 must have bus access.

The DOT endorses un1's plan for the development north of Oilville.

I also endorse new power needs being met with more solar plants, as they appear to be working well.

Head of the Department of Transportation
