Well since I really don't have time to do another CJ, I thought I would build some commercial stores to help my CJ especially for more suburban areas.

This is Autobacs, a major automotive store in Japan; I began this a while ago but am getting back to it. The problem is there are a lack of pictures online for me to get a general idea of how to make the building. If anyone can provide pictures, that would be great!

Also I want to BAT more Japanese stores but I am not sure of major ones where I can find pictures. So if anyone knows of major stores found usually off a major road and have pictures please do contribute!

Heres the progress now. Did lots of texturing and added some props; banners, tire rack, vending machine. Also added window frames and made another garage on the side. I think its turning out well. Still not sure what to put on the other two sides, maybe parking or something. I also went ahead and did some nightlighting. I get weird leaks and such. I don't know where the light could be leaking from. Notice the West side at night, the sign is really bright. I don't know what leak is causing this. Anyways if anyone has pictures of advertisements related to cars or has suggestions as to what I should put on the remaining sides, please do let me know9.gif

If it's "leaking" like that, that means that you don't have the "cast shadows" option enabled for your nightlights. It all looks terrific though, you just need roof junk and maybe a *bit* less stretched roof texture and a bit of dirtier wall texture (keep the lines though, it looks good that way IMO). Great job! 4.gif

    Keep calm and take photographs.

Thanks Yoshi, your suggestions helped. Well I think I am done with Autobacs and will render it soon. Here is the final product!

I am quite satisfied with the results. the two garage things on the South side are parking entrances and exits to an underground garage. I hope to release these by sometime next week, and then I can BAT as much as I want because Summer classes end this week!9.gif

Hi all again, I am bringing back my Setagaya pack. It will be a four pack W2W for suburban shopping areas. The first one is completed and second is nearing. Not sure about the release date as my summer ends in two days.

I'll get back to drugstore Mori later. Also thanks to google maps street view of Tokyo, I have a better resource of inspiration, the fourth building are based on real buildings. Also the shop front is littered with lots of merchandise and I was wondering if there was some easy way to BAT those.

Thought I'd try a skyscraper again. This is based off of 90 New Montgomery in San Francisco but, there are a few inacuracies so I will call it 96 New Montgomery. About 2 hours of work.

Nice! I find it's much easier to base your creations off of something, rather than trying to duplicate something exactly. I've never seen 90 New Montgomery, but your building looks great!

I think you should do some aligning of the windows. they seem to dance about their place quite a bit.

Also the walls aren't snapped into place. Turn on "snap to vertices" and fix walls (in top view) and windows in flat on (left, right, front, back)

Seeing as skyscrapers aren't my thing and my computer definately can't handle them, I returned to my old project Drugstore Mori. It's still a work in progress but it is making progress. I have break in about two days so definately will get it done soon. Just got to finish one more final and I'll also try to get out the Setagaya set too.

So here is a work in progress

I did a lot of work on drugstore Mori and it is also nearing completion. I just need to figure out what to put at the rear and on the sides.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I was thinking leaving the sides blank but have some kind of props near it not sure though.

Here is part 2 of the JPACK series. This is Sakura Dori, another Tokyo block that sits on a corner.

Nice work, skyliner! For the Mori drugstore, maybe you could put some advertisements on the side walls, and lights over the garage door and exit on the back?

    Can't wait to see more!
