Where are my sunglasses...I need to do a bit more sightseeing here...so colourful and I can feel the warmth of the surf and sand beckoning me.

Well now this update is about the more modern side of Santa Leon. The city is rapidly growing upwards as you can tell, only a couple of years ago some of the taller buildings didn't even exist. However Santa Leon did have skyscrapers way before San Pedro could ever even afford them.

From the surface Santa Leon looks crazy and intimidating, but the central business district actually has quite an organized layout.

At night though it gets even more confusing, as car headlights mix with huge lights displaying grand monuments and architecture. Here is the Monument to El Leon Santo, the "Holy Lion" which symbolizes the nation's spiritual strength.

    And a mosaic:

This update is about the neighborhoods of Santa Leon. Although I really only show 3 of them, there are quite a few. Most of the neighborhoods of Santa Leon were once small independent villages, but were engulfed by the rapidly growing Santa Leon.

This neighborhood is named Valenzuela. It retains its small-town charm with the Zocalo square and

Each one of these neighborhoods is very unique Panther. I love them, they seem so beautiful, like a virtual escape to paradise. Lovely work.

One last update of Santa Leon before we head towards the outskirts and neighboring cities.

This update is mostly just a bunch of miscelaneous things in Santa Leon having to do with public transportation.

    SantaLeon-Jul26481227222238.jpg

The most important form of transportation is airplane.

Here is Cathay Pacific Flight 271 arriving from Hong Kong. What a foggy day! In Mesias winter is mostly cloudy with heavy downpours.

    SantaLeon-Jul26481227222214.jpg

Another important form of transportation is the autobus system of Mesias, which is quite popular and inexpensive. The coach buses are very comfortable too.

    SantaLeon-Jul26481227222188.jpg

The center of the city, like this area (which is the Plaza de la Paz in front of the Capitol),  it is hard to find a bus that isn't already crowded. Taxis are probably best but are also more expensive. Also some taxis are not considered trustworthy and the driver may exploit longer routes to drive up the pricing meter.

wow, very nice update again! May I ask where you got the Cathay B 747. When I search for it in LE I only find the ACB prop with the jetway, but never without! Just can't wait for more!
