Well, to be honest, I have been cleaning out my biggest Pluginsfolder for more than 2 weeks now, it used to be almost 16 Gb's. This is the troublemaker that hinders me to continue my CJ Nexis of Genesis. Something in there won't let me play in some of my cities. Still got a lot of files to go through.....oh boy, what a nightmare....lol.

This one is now 12.5 Gb big and contains some 39,000 files (no doubles, no pics and readme's) that I collected since 2003, five years now, and believe it or not, I am still missing some freaking prop-packs and textures, geeeeez. But it's a real treasure box since I have everything from when the first lots and BATs were created.

My regular one is only 4.8 Gb's which I use in most regions nowadays and I have another one that is 2.4Gb's for my sandbox and special regions.

I'm started playing in April '07, had a big break and started downloading stuff again recently. Biggest problem is the fact, that all the links for BSC products linking to depenencies in the STEX don't work anymore. Its hard to find these things over at SCdevotion or other sites, as names for the packages and the complitations themselves seem to have changed during the time. Until today I'm still tweaking the essentials, like embankments and walls, stations for busses, trains and GLR. I did not dare to download custom residential or commercial models/lots so far.

Accordingly, half of the stuff I'm downloading is being deleted again, as I lack the depenencies or cant find them at all, though I make use of the google searches already. My folder is 233MB including the zip-/rar- files as well. Looks like i'm years to late to catch up with you guys, ever.

HAH I still can not believe that there is 12gb and still a steadily growing collection of downloadable content out there, for a game that came out in 2003.. really says something about the lasting power of sc4

My plugins folder got much fatter when I got extra RAM and could download all the stuff I wanted. Right now it's 1.33 GB, but is still growing, albeit at a slower rate than a month ago.

Mine is only 715 MB after 4 months of downloading. Of course, this is after i "Cleaned the slate" and uninstalled all my plugins because of the horrible state of unorganization, super-slow load times, missing dependencies, and persistent crashes. Oh yeah the old one was only 2gigs to give you an idea of how bad it was. now i am much better at dependencies and sorting. I take extreme pride in the fact that I am missing no dependencies -end of rant

Mines approaching 3GB now, and that's from about one year of downloading!

Imagine how big the thing 'll be this time next year... lol. I can easily see where mrbisonm got his 16GB from, if he's been here since the beginning.

Funny thing is for me, I had about 3 computer crashes. 3 Times to download again, Last happened in the beginning of last summer. Now I have over 8 gigs. Shows how fast I download.
