Looking good! Very nice start. I doubt this is your first try at making buildings. I know it's in its early stages but I have to say it; you need more detail! It's good that you have some frames and things on the windows, but the overall structure could use some more framework around whatever the wall surface is made out of. It looks pretty modern so it's probably made out of some sort of paneling, which needs seems and things. Other than that though, very nice start.

These are very good, it would also be nice if you could get BAT4MAX so we could see these in an SC4 view

The models are real nice, tho you will need to start working on the textures. also it is good to have certain parts of geometry with a different texture, and of course the roofs need soe work. All in all tho this is looking to be a really nice complex!!

Well, 2 LOOKS better because you can see the lines, even thought I THINK they should go the direction of 1.

If you can get them to go with the sides of the buliding, like #1, but have the obvious divisions of panels like #2, that would be the best I think.

hrmm...do the roofs really look like that? You are really close to have some great BATs here but eh roofs are still too simplistic for me. Sorry I am not here to disuade you but to help you as much as I can. Try checking out some of my roof designs and see what you can come up with. Also here is a housing project in India - for some inspiration of roof and apartment design.

if you like these designs go here for the main plan >>

click on floor plans for excellent reference and design...hrmm this is a pretty neat looking place maybe I will BAT it --- but I got a lot of things going on. Just dropping in to give you ideas and inspiration.

i know it's unusual to se roofs like that in real life but here is a pic of the original render how the buildings will look like when the construction is complited...they are all bare and there will be nothing on them...that's why i made roofs like that...

Jason's right, you should do the ribbing on the roof. If the roof is mearly just a texture, it'll look poor and unrealistic. I think you should also do more with roof junk. Also, there should be some more activity on the lot and the model. You're not going to fly over a major city and find nothing in those balconies. In my personal opinon those textures look unconvincing. Or maybe it's just because they're not my type of textures. Who knows? But other than that the model looks terrific.

don't get discouraged by the critiques, you're progressing wonderfully, keep plugging at it and you will not only have a masterpiece but will have picked up a lot along the way.
