Cool!!!! That's insane!!! only two weeks and there is such a progress with the construction....Its amazing!!!! Now I'm glad that Puerto Joya's authorities decided to close the old airport because the new one is just great and the develop in that area is promisisng!!!! (I hope you understood me....my english sucks hahahaha)

The airport project looks great and I like how you've used the old runway for a road. I found this pic which shows a similar place where the old airport runway's been converted to road but the projects in puerto joya are much nicer it seems

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of updates (esp the flight schedule) ive been very busy (and will be busy still ) because im preparing for an overseas trip so i might go on hiatus for a while but before i go on full hiatus, ive something to share

Jaime_ua - nah, demolition of the old airport started after 2 weeks, but the pics are about a few months later

Mike the Mayor - thanks, i made a short tutorial for the night effects one of the coolest thing about it is, depending on how you are used to it, you could make pics for as short as 5 minutes

frogface - haha thanks for the pic yeah i decided that in real life, itd make more sense to make use of the old runway (saves concrete lol)

Puerto Joya will go on a hiatus for a month I am in Singapore now and i dont have a PC here yet. I did bring my region files and my plugins folder with me and will resume CJing and City building as soon as I can..

the good news though is that, being in a different country (and a very beautiful country it is!) I have new ideas on what direction to take for Puerto Joya..

Nice before/after picture of the development at the old airport site. Regarding your current situation, at least you have the actual SC4 files. That's really the most important thing. I'm looking forward to the return of Puerto Joya!

Beautiful work there Waway! I don't think I've ever seen a CJ where the author showed his viewers the demolition of an old airport and the construction of new development on top. You've sure made it look realistic too! I love how you used a main street to replace the old runway, it looks really cool! Great work, hope to see you back here soon. hi guys, im really hurting right now as i miss playing SC4 but i cant coz im overseas and i dont have a PC yet..i just got a job here though i havent started yet so id be starting a new life here (hopefully a good one)

im still looking for my own place since now im still at my friends place..and as much as i want to buy a new copy of sc4 now..im afraid his laptop wont be able to run puerto joya lol

but anyway, puerto joya's hiatus could end on june at the soonest (my timetable to get a new gaming PC and when my contract for the room ill rent starting this sunday would end)

i just cant wait to play SC4 again as there are lots of things that ive learned about cities which id like to apply to puerto joya..what a great city singapore is so cosmopolitan yet so green and organized

ky72x- yep, i made sure i brought my files with me and made 2 backups too...one in my flash drive and another on my friends laptop (but im pretty sure it cant play SC4 esp with puerto joya lol)

petriknl- yep, redevelopments are more challenging (IMO) than new developments since the choices are more limited (sometimes) glad you liked the redevelpment too,,,thanks

Mike the Mayor- thanks mike, regarding the mall, im 90% decided (when i resume playing) that ill make some adjustments..itd be more like orchard road here in singapore than one big mall oooh i just cant wait to get back to playing SC4

nihonkaranws- hi my friend..regarding the runway being used as a road, its not entirely unique though not sure about other places/countries, but here in the philippines (wait im in singapore..so let me rephrase that to in the philippines lol) makati's ayala avenue (the philippines wall street) was once a runway (not 100% sure though)
