here's mine. i have a CJ for this city, plymouth, but i haven't updated for months. i'm planning on restarting it soon though...this CBD is proabably the most realistic i've done, though it pales in comparison to alot of downtowns i've seen in this thread. i also don't like the low-density residential street layout around the bottom of the picture; i think it should be more griddy to be more like a real american city. i would just redo that area, but residential doesn't develop very well in this particular city anymore; maybe just because of size and age. still, i'm pretty satisfied with this city overall, although i think the suburbs i've been doing look rather better.

Thanks, G2C.

Amyrai200, I like your skyline as well, it looks realistic with the suburbs on the other side of the city and with the downtown facing the river.

Excellent image. I susally spend hours on my shorelines, trying to get them exactly how I want them. Your's are very neat. And the river makes the city look stronger to me. Who knows why 30.gif

Here's a teaser of my current project. I'm making a Las Vegas style city with one long avenue. I guess you can consider this the downtown area.

Tell me what you think!

This is my downtown, is a small city with only CO$$, CO$$$ y R$$$ zones, in the region I have cities with R$, R$$ and Industries zones that connects to this one. There are some spaces available now, but the plan is to take out all the facilities (enegy, water) so this city has only buildings.

A general view.

Trusperaton might not be worth posting a picture of, yet it is my biggest city without cheats at population 145,000+ using a medium-sized square. What do you guys think, should I post a picture of Trusperaton?

EDIT: It just struck me! How do you guys get cities with such massive skyscrapers (downloaded of course) without the demand going ker-plop? And how do the skyscrapers get so mixed? In My cities, there will be an area that has about 5 of the same building!

Wow there are some serious skylines on here. None of mine compare in sheer number of them but I do have some nice pics I should post. Nice small downtowns, medium downtowns, and a few large ones too.

Great pics everyone!  This city is still under development, but it is my best city in terms of population.  More pics are coming soon! 9.gif

This is Falasadalla, capital of Pravecia. That's the Legislative Assembly on the north side of downtown. The highway (Princess Daphne Expressway) provides excellent access to downtown and has facilitated rapid growth. I'm thinking of doing a CJ of the region once it gets decently pumped up. Current city pop. 65,000.

Wow, some crazy looking downtowns there are! Nice to see some skyscrapers that I've never seen before. Personally my biggest city has scattered high-rises so I don't have a "big" downtown. I never knew you can fake downtowns =O
