Peter Parker plaza turned out nicely. The fountain and the clock tower work great together. Now it would be great to see some "MJ" tribute next 2.gif.

For the most part, Mac OS isn't backwards compatible, no. OSX was such a fundamental shift in code that OS9 stuff really didn't work anymore. Oh, you can use "classic" environment in your computer. But it's a pain in the butt. But it's okay. The new UNIX based OS is much better and OS9 is like 8 years old now, so very few people have any of the old stuff anymore. 3.gif

As for the update, I really like what you've done with the little diamond-shaped plaza. Really cool! 4.gif

Well, I'm trying to make better and better updates.  Hopefully this one will show some more progress in my abilities...  (I'm still trying to figure out the ploppable water, so maybe more of that next time).

    But first,

    REPLIES!

Benedict: Thank you!  Haha, I worked long and hard on those old cities!

Gn_leugim: Haha, thank you!  I'm glad I can help in any way.

    waway: No problemo!

bbfan02: Thank you!  So do I2.gif

Schulmanator: Yeah, my schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.  And, thank you!

Smarty218: Thank you!  The beaches tell me they love you too.

Hester: Haha, better late than never.  Thank you!

suomi2005: Yeah, I've been trying to improve my look.  It's a little embarrassing to post junk next to fantastic and amazing journals...  So thank you!  I'm trying!

Philscafe: Thank you!  Haha, perhaps...  Perhaps in the mountains...

Greekman: Yeah.  Reminds of the days of my youth.

zelgadis: Oh, I see.  That's good that it moved forward unlike what I hear about Vista...  Anyways, thank you!

Gn_leugim:  Haha,, not nonstop!  You have Sundays off2.gif

And now, Royale Mountains National Park.

    2365149393_78a1ccce23_o.jpg

Royale Station is the first stop, and most visitors stay in one of the myriad hotels or B&Bs scattered throughout Royale City.

    2365148011_acff8f803b_o.jpg

Royale City Park.  Mostly I just wanted to see how this pack looked in action.  Not bad, eh?

    2365149401_3e043c20c6_o.jpg

There are a couple of luxury hotels near the Park's entrance.  This one, The Grapes Inn, is home to wine tasters who wish to drink lots of wine at the wineries.  This particular winery, the Xavier Winery is run by a group of Franciscan monks who live in a monastery to the north.

    2365149399_96625ce645_o.jpg

This one is a group of Italians who settled in the area and bought land before it was made into a preserve.  This is the Stelvio Wine Company.  They sponsor tours and host weddings and celebrations.  There is a big wine festival in Royale City every summer, and the Italians and the Franciscans collaborate.  A good time is had by all who attend the Royale Wine Fair.

    2365147995_821b79e0e4_o.jpg

The Franciscans' cloister (Royale Cloister) and Royale Cemetary, still in use.

    2365148007_08543d6330_o.jpg

South of the wine country is Stellar Pass.

    2365149397_92929a6c17_o.jpg

Buddhists set up a mountain shrine at the top of the Pass.  Hoshiyama-ji.

    2365149395_8b73f1da10_o.jpg

South Stellar Pass is inspired partly by Stelvio Pass between Italy and Switzerland.  I hope to drive there one day (it has 43 hairpin turns!  43!!!)

    2365148009_a97fd653d5_o.jpg

AND Stellar Pass ends here at Royale Country Club.  It's exclusive and expensive.  RCC Hotel is one of the most desired destinations in all Port Matthew.

    2365147993_3e931f17d6_o.jpg

An early experiment with ploppable water, Birch Pass Lakes.  Hikers and campers love this area.  The water is safe to<

Good shots! I like the railroad station! The mountain road looks pretty intense. I always get anxious when I drive on roads like there near where I live. Great scenery, man! Keep it up!

So, it has been a little while.  Sorry about that.  Real life has been a real pain recently,  but hey, it happens.  No pause button in life.  So, this won't be a real update.  That will really come Saturday.  For real this time.

    Now, for some real REPLIES!

Smarty218: Thank you!  That was just a small sample of what's to come.  Hopefully I can get it to work the way I want it to...

    jacqulina: Thank you!

Twenty20: Thank you!  A lot of work went into those trees...

Schulmanator: Haha, maybe I just scraped by...2.gif

Mike the Mayor: Yeah, I didn't want highrises, but I didn't really have anything that looked like a nice country villa, so in went those bad boys.  I'm glad they don't look silly.

Hester: Thank you!  (ugh, the trees...)

PhilsCafe: I was shooting for that.  It was a little difficult to pull off.  Thank you!

The Big Z: Thank you!  I haven't had the pleasure to drive something like that yet, but I've been a passenger...  It was a harrowing experience...

Evil Weasel: Haha, there's a two stroke penalty for going out of bounds like that!

zelgadis: Nope.  You wouldn't believe the blind spots!  It was a challenge, and it took me a couple of weeks to do.

suplado!: Haha, thank you!  One must drive carefully if one hopes to survive the Royale Mountains!

Hester: Saturday we should find out...

bbfan02: Thank you!  The flora took FOREVER!!!

Hester: Stop by as many times as you like2.gif

So, here's another city I'm working on to the southeast of Port Matthew.  It's going to be a big suburban, with maybe some medium density development.

    2401569553_a23e2d15a0_o.jpg

It's called Seven Hills, because there are seven hills and I'm running out of names for my cities...

    2401569543_acd79d5c1f_o.jpg

Also, here's an updated region view transit map.  I'm trying to get rid of some of the griddiness and you can kinda tell which cities are newer and which ones are older...

    2401569547_183b3c44a6_o.jpg

And here's the satellite view.  It's grown quite nicely.  Someday, we may have to visit Matthewton, that area of highrises just  southeast of Port Matthew.  It's a little griddy and boring though, so I have to work on it to make it presentable.  I hope that I've improved enough that you all aren't too bored anymore!  And Saturday, look for Isle Royale National Park part 2!  Thank you for the comments!  More are of course, appreciated!9.gif

Quite nicely?...That's amazing!!! Those hills/mountains look so cool, although the other two tiles could use some trees... Great work, keep it up!!!

Well then, I am back for another go at it. I have to say I am thinking of suing you as well as Schulmy. You, because I slipped and rolled down that precipitous slope of a mountain you have here in the newest update. You didn't install safety measures!!! And him just because I want to. How's THAT!?

Wow, those mountain areas are fairly picturesqe. The way the roads wind through them looks like it would in real life.
