So its getting so close to that time of year again, Christmas time and again its time to ask yourself what your getting?

Next week I'm getting a PS3 with all the money i've saved up recently and for christmas I'm getting:

Orange Box (PS3)

Assassins Creed (PS3)

Rainbow Six Vegas (PS3)

Call Of Duty 4 (PS3)

Extra PS3 Controller

and plus a few other things.

Good question. I'm 23, so I don't plan on my parents getting me lots of stuff (although I wish they still did... god kids have it made). I will maybe be getting my mother a Tivo, she tapes soap operas and lots of tv shows (ugly betty, that show with all the doctors, etc...), and goes through 100s of tapes, constantly worrying about which one is what, where she left off of, fast forwarding through commercials, etc... so I figure a Tivo would be a decent present.

I haven't decided what to get my father or friends yet. I had a pet lovebird that died about 5 months ago that I miss very much and I'm thinking my parents may get me a new one (I hope so anyway!). If they don't then I'll treat myself and get one by the end of January probably (their only like 80-100 or so). I've always been a fan of lovebirds since I got my first from an uncle at 16. I usually clip their wings, which allows them to run around the house and be a real pet, not a display like most birds tend to be

The biggest thing I plan on treating myself to over the next year or so (assuming it comes out) is Spore!

1. i have a buyer for my 8800GTS 320 and he agreed to wait till the first week of december to get it (so by then i think ill get myself the improved 8800GTS 512mb with 128sp)

2.  ill buy my gf some sandals though im not sure what exactly (shes a shoe freak lol)

as for the gift id like to get, well.. i dont like receiving gifts (yeah weird) lol

Not really christmas yet, heck not even december. Seems like every year the holidays comes earlier. As for a list things that come off the top of my head:

A new mountain bike, id perhaps get myself

A laptop for college, probably not christmas

a PS3, i wish but most likely aint gettin for a while

Gee and to top it off my bday is right near christmas, turnin 18!!! WOOHOO!! ill update the list as it gets closer and ideas start poppin in my head!

The onset of Seasonal Affective Disorder. I heard the first xmas song in a corner store the other day and that's all it took. I go thru this every year. Anyone else have to deal with this?

I like to give more than I like to receive. I've already planned out most of the gifts for my family and a few of my close friends. Some of them I have to order of the internet, which I better do early, just in case. I always buy my brothers silly gifts that they enjoy.

I know my grandma bought me some sweaters and I asked for books from my parents. I just like the atmosphere of Christmas more than I like opening gifts.

To those people who said that they're 16 and not excited about Christmas anymore, I can understand why because what you want gets way expensive and more than your parents/relatives/friends can afford; i know this because im 18, and i have no idea what affordable thing im gonna get for Christmas that I'll like besides the Rock Band game for XBOX 360. However, don't forget the real reason for the season...CHRISTmas.

^^yeah lol, people can be really greedy at Christmas....not that I'm not guilty of the same thing. I usually ask for something for my computer, this year I can't think of anything I want though. My parents always remember something I said I wanted like 6 months ago, that I forgot completely about, so I'm usually pleasantly surprised.
