Sorry for the pic size but my screen has a huge resolution: 1280x1024. When putting them to 800x600, the appear all blurry and it make them look ugly.

Well, you can crop your pictures to show an area of 800x600, or resize them to 800x600 and link to the full versions. Not everyone has a huge monitor, so that's why there's rules. And I'm afraid you need to stick to a 300x50 signature image as well. 2.gif

Nice town. I like that the harbour isn't too cramped.

:edit:  Alright guys, he doesn't need everyone and their brother to tell him the pics are too big. 18.gif

Looks wonderful, and very realistic! But your pics are way to big, including you sig pic. When taking pics in Sim City 4, I find the best method is to click the space bar 5 times when you have the picture taking mode up, that automatically makes it 800x600, so you don't even have to resize!

Nice work, but as many have said, keep images within the limit. I would even recommend resizing all of the pics in this first update. And there's also the sig image, which needs to stay in the limit of 300x50.

    Other than that, great work.

Bloody excellent! Speaking as a semi-New Englander, I can verify patriot's comment and say it is very realistic. The forests and commercial areas are particularly nice. 3.gif

Second update: the forest north of Winter Harbour.

2/ The Whitestone Lake, used as reservoir for the water supply of the region

3/ An old house in the nearby mountains. Some believe it's haunted.

Nice, I think it reflects very well the suburban/town feeling of east coast America.

Oh, and I lived in Prince William County... it's a real county in Virginia. 3.gif

Since I live in Prince William County, VIRGINIA, the name intrigued me. The parks and forests look really nice. I also like the commerical strips with the shopping centers, they look realistic. Some of the residential areas looked a bit griddy to me, but maybe that's what you're going for. Also, I would recommend using streets in your residential areas (unless one road through there is a major one). Good luck.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

@dfnva: Actually I used roads for the residential areas around the old town, to make it look older. But i used streets for the newer neighborhoods. I was inspired by what i saw in Maryland while being on a visit. Older streets were black and new residential areas were gray.

@Mr.Beer: I'll show a region pic soon, but it's not finished.

So I know how challenging this must've been.
