Nice old looking suburbs; I love those red Don Miguel rowhouses. And of course you needed the Tim Horton's. Canada without Tim Horton's would be like the ocean without water. It's so ubiquitous...

That was a little slum-ish... GREAT!

BTW: Canadian houses have brownish colors for some reasons. At least it is in Toronto here. And townhomes have roofs. And where did you get the building that has a tim hortons in it?

PS: *adding to fav cj section in my sig*

Rct3twins, I think that's because every freaking house in Toronto is made of bricks. In Calgary some are brick or brick fronted but there are a lot of wood houses and most new construction is stucco or vinyl siding. It's strictly a regional thing; though if Springhurst is near Toronto, it would probably make sense.

Also, the building is The Foreign Affair by Spa. Clothing store with Tim Horton's attached.

Wow what an incredible update!! I'm really liking your region, very coastal and easy to build on! Excellent midrise areas throughout the el-rail sections of the city!! And I really really like those rowhomes, it reminds me of something out of Brooklyn! 9.gif

Excellent! 44.gif

Sorry i haven't updated this thread in almost a month, real life and SimCity Societies is getting to me, I don't quite have a full update at the moment, I'll get to that as soon as possible. Just to show I am not dead, I will get back to your comments and post more updated region and downtown pictures... also so zilla won't drop a bomb on me 41.gif

ok, seeing as I get a lot of people asking where I get certain stuff, I'll add links to your requests here with every update...

the mall in picture #6, in update #1 can be found here.

The elevated rail over road is part of the NAM(network addon mod) which can be downloaded here. along with it, the station, which you can download here.
