So glad you've returned. Be sure to do backups every so often. 2.gif

Also... if your life ever allows for it, you were doing some pretty awesome work with sunken roads before your pc tanked again and you disapeared. *wink*

Beautiful!

If I had to make some criticism, I would say he the rust texture is a little too strong.

Great Job. Allthough the textures need some improvement. I took the liberty to edit your pic in photoshop and this is what I got:

Thanks for the warm welcome back. glad i could make it....40.gif

textures are off indeed. i darkened them and removed the red. i want a fake shadow and dirt under the elevated nam pieces.

i tried creating a piece today that plays with the idea of folding down steps in a less linear method.

its a 1x1 lot with 3 over hanging props that cover a1x3 area. each prop is a terrace. the center is an extreme example of what the props do. left flat. right more realistic slope. there are some errors in this. just seeing how i want to approach this at this point. i like the brick for the industrial look.  any suggestions are welcome as always.

Worked on the pieces a bit this week. I made a mini set. I also added a couple textures, broke the individual tiles up into approx 30 different  props but ended up with  a bit of trouble with the lods. heres a view of 7 lots made with the tiles.

work to be done...lol...lots of lots.

(EDIT* these are not transit enabled and wont happen. only linked to road for effect. 0 switching)

(EDIT AGAIN more on the textures. i dont even know if i want lot setups like this. maybe as an addon. random base lots with no filler tiles takes less room. unless of coarse i can add jobs to lots to offset the lost space. any ideas?)

The concept of maybe seeing some new buddybud sunken network bits in my city is quite enticing...

Anyway, I don't know if I like that street conection thing. If it was just an overlay texture that looked like it connected, thats different. But having it actually connect like that really screws up the vehicle generator, causing loops and traffic jams. A path/driveway thing like that was done before, looked like it connected right to the road, when all it did was overhang the texture from the lot over the sidewalk. Look into it and tell me what you think. 4.gif

no side lots...looks ever so promising. but the number of models would be huge. its an option.
