Some good news and some bad news:

Bad News: A serise of tornados swept through my area (Kenosha County, Wisconsin) kind of disrupted my internet service Monday evening. The good news is that it is all over and I have internet connection and aan update I promised will come very very soon. For more information on the tornados in my area, please visit www.WISN.com and the story is on the front page or visit www.kenoshanews.com for local coverage. Anyhow, Welcome to Page 7. JKB

I love the new rural highway interchanges and the new farmland zoned. The little villages look great.

I see you've downloaded the new RHW, and subsequently discovered one of it's limitations, that you can't build rhw bridges over other networks, but looks good, the ramps definitely look better than those using one-way roads as I've found out.

I guess my one recommendation (despite the true flatness of Iowa) would be to use on-slope puzzle pieces for your bridges.

As always, you've got some good rural scenes.

    Keep up the good work,

    Dan

    First a reply:

Connorc24: Welcome and thanks for the comment.

Now the City of Glenrio officials will be take us on a tour of their great city. We now join them in the Glenrio Tours aircraft.

The history of Glenrio is most of our founding fathers came from Glenrio Texas and New Mexico along the Old US 66 and moved to here in Iowa to start anew. In the 1930's and 1940's, Glenrio, Iowa only had a population of 20 and farms galore. Now Glenrio has a population of about 25,000 including the small farming community of Maplewood. Now onto the pictures:

This is an old photo of Wayne. I have redone Wayne as the textures of the old photo were going as you can make out. Plus the population was wayyy out of propotion to the area I am trying to create. Wayne now looks like this......

Nice work, Jon! Hafta say that you have a lot of great rural spaces with a nice center tucked in. I like the combination of straight and off shapes, giving it an organic and more realistic feel. Your updates are worth waiting for.

Beam me down to Brown County!
