I like your mix - something from everthing, rural lowrise, suburban sprawl and downtown highrise, but always nice ...

Question: is this 6*4 british rowhouse on the stex???

Keep Coming (I just wish I had a faster connection)

Nice, SA your cities are beautiful and I love the parks. The skyscrapers you use are among the greatest at ST. Great work!

SA, great update.  I have always thought about doing something like that.  I really enjoyed the ride around town.

Great city, especially that non-grided road layout you have done.
Two Thumbs Up. 3.gif

    Thanks, guys.

There seems to be a huge contrast between here and SCC... my CJ here has 4 pages, but my SCC one has 23 pages. Ah well.

Well, next update... this pic's really, really big. It's a *gasp* mosaic! 3.gif

MEH. Here's Celeron Mountain, now at... 254,000! This makes up just over a quarter of the total population of Dynasty... woot!
And I got my first ever Ong Condo. Yay.
The first image will take a long time to load... it's an urban mosaic of the city! But to compensate, there's only 5 images.

    celeronmountain0018jp.jpgceleronmountain0029dr.jpgceleronmountain0035cs.jpgceleronmountain0047cu.jpg

Argh, Imageshack gets worse every day...I HATE IT. Anyways, as always, enjoy!

    S_A

    Superb update

The first (gasp) 25.gif mosaic is beautiful. I really like the residential sector with the long streets just behind the big appartment buildings.

Your CJ is certainly one of the best in Simtropolis.
I should post more often, I'll do my best to be more active here, It's worth it!

    Great Work! 44.gif

    Take care

SA - Wonderful looking mosaic.  I really like the residential neighborhood.  Great job of creating what looks like a thriving high density area while still keeping it very green.

    Great Job.

Well, thanks for the comments, guys, sorry I didn't post this earlier, but meh.

Let's pay another visit to Highwind... but first... region view.

    dynastyregionview950k3rg.jpg
If this color choice is driving you nuts (the border), I'll get rid of it. 3.gif

Remember the old Parliament? It's been completely renovated. And our new one is here...
    highwind0015nd.jpg
Does this look better than the old one?

    highwind0023oh.jpg
While the latest addition to Highwind is very small, this here is one of the few patches of low density in Highwind, and fronts right onto the Albaraji National Park.

    highwind0031df.jpg
    The northern part.

I've only got something like 3 or 4 images, since this is only, after all, a small update - an extension onto the city, as part of Phase 2. The same thing happened to Celeron Mountain.

Oh man, a region shot....I love those region pics....especially when they are this developed....BTW, the color doesn't bother me....I think it looks rather artistic.  Like the new area around Parliment.  Nice use of the canal set there as well.  The last two pics, well, I gotta admit......I really like your little suburban neighborhoods.....You do them really well.

SA, I just had to take the time to let you know...this CJ is reaching new heights.  The mosaic and the region view are simply gorgeous.  This certainly quite a massive development you've got going.  Also, the urban areas are quite scenic.  Where I'm from, it's uncommon to find densely populated areas sitting in the middle of beautifully wooded forests.  Good work! 44.gif

    Thanks, everybody.

I've got another update: Llandilo, another farming town.
    llandilo0013us.jpg
It was a rainy day as we passed Llandilo on the way to the airport... the weather in Dynasty can be rather unpredictable, sunny one moment, rainy the next.

    llandilo0028lu.jpg
This further reinforced Dynasty's unpredictable weather...sunny two minutes later.

    And welcome to Llandilo.

    llandilo0038pu.jpg
We arrived here about two hours after landing at Geneaux Int'l. This here is the sugar cane farm we're staying at, the Sweet Tooth Sugar Farm. At least I get to walk away with free sugar.

    llandilo0041ms.jpg
Some more farms on the south side. Though, Llandilo's famous for its alcoholic drinks and flowers, and deserves that.

    llandilo0058td.jpg
Some farms, the bulk of Llandilo's town centre. There are a few homes boarded up in the town, probably a remnant of some bad days...

    llandilo0067gd.jpg
Ichliebedis Winery, from what I hear, they make absolutely the best wine, and has a proud history of its own. Deceptive Oranges make a comeback here, this time, with apples painted an orange colour. Talk about scamming.

    llandilo0077xx.jpg
Hidden Corner Winery, also making good quality wine, but they specialise more in the white sparkling stuff than Ichliebedis Winery, which is more a deep red colour wine. Also, Turkey Trot Corn, the only corn brand in Dynasty that comes with a turkey flavour, and also, the only turkey brand that comes with a corn flavour. 3.gif

    llandilo0080dc.jpg
Llandilo Industrial Park - a blend of polluting elements and high tech. As a result, dirty/manufacturing industry co-exists peacefully with high-tech industry.

    llandilo0091fz.jpg
A better shot of Deceptive Oranges there, as you can see, there's plenty of fake apples growing.

    llandilo0103lg.jpg
The cycleway running behind the Sweet Tooth Sugar Farm, that section's pretty dangerous to take at a high speed, as I found out by accident when trying to go over that hill, and ending up about 20m away. 3.gif

    llandilo0110fq.jpg
More cycleway. This area's the most fun, apparently for some. Meh, this area's Alednah Hill, one of the newer areas of Llandilo.

    llandilo0122of.jpg
    Llandilo Town Centre.

    Share and enjoy. 9.gif

edit: Feckin' line breaks. Fixed the images. They should appear fine.
edit2: Imageshack seems to be down... again. So you'll have to wait a while if you can't see em.

    Great pictures S_A

Really like the presentation of the region shot too, as for the color it's good looking though it's stealing the show a bit, perhaps toned down just a bit, and the texture is really great I wouldn't change it!

    Take care

wks2003x: To be honest, I don't know. But since this is at a major crossroads, I'd expect a large amount of traffic.

oreon: Thanks. I was expecting this city to actually be a major crossroads between two CBDs, so I kind of was planning ahead.

jacqualina: Thanks for your comment and keep on posting!

    Deathtoall: Thanks.

Natataek: Thanks. Your CJ's pretty cool, too. But your avatar kind of scares me. 17.gif

DragonAnime: Thanks, and keep on postin!

Darmok: Heh, yeah, the colour's stealing the show. 3.gif

    newy: Thanks, man.

AND we have our next update:
Now, Albaraji's located on the west side, along with Messelmonde. Here, these two cities will be shown as one. You'll notice a phrase - Before the Click. This phrase is used by Jeroni over at Sculpting Columbia River, to describe the moment in time the Play button is pressed. I used it, as I felt it would best apply for both cities. Lots of pics for this one, too.
