    The diagonal walls can be found here.

    Yes, newyorkrunway, that is the Predators logo. Why do you ask? [it's for the SimTrop Hockey League, though]

    How do you get so many middle class homes?
    What is the mod that you use for the end of roads/streets with the turning circle (mind block, whichever one is the lighter grey) and for that matter don't you have congestion problems in all the subdivisions having just low capacity streets/roads.

    Education, taxing out all upper class, I think it's the cul-de-sac mod, don't remember where in ST I got it from, search for qurlix. Nope, I don't have congestion problems, as I use the 10x cap mod with the NAM. Works great.

    The lamps came with the Amsterdam station. They're on my cycleways, but you'll need the Amsterdam station to see them.

    Sorry I didn't have time earlier to reply to everybody, and obviously, thanks for viewing my CJ!.

    Wow, some nice updates again Shadow! I especially like Old Titticaca, as well as the winding railtracks. Also: you're the first to put Oppie's new canals into use (to my knowledge) It looks great ingame!

    Hey SA, hope you had a great week.  What a great update.  I really like your use of the canal set.  Your layouts seem quite unique and I really liked the railyard.  The Institute of Technology looks quite grand and the plaza, Wow, it looks great.  Is that something you made on your own or was it a downloadable lot?  Great Update SA.

    Yep, despite the name, 'Titt' is a work of art.  The canals are my favorite part of the city.  Deadly park is cool, too.  The coaster reminds me of The Viper at Six Flags.  The historic look of old town strangely looks good alongside the newer commercial district...never would have thought that would work but it did.  Very European looking. 44.gif  By the way, I'm not sure if someone has asked this before, but were did you get the terrain mod?  The grassy surface looks much better than the default Maxis dirt.

    Always about the canals, eh? 3.gif

    dhoppeii: Yup, it's one that I made on my own. I was thinking, hmm, a sinkhole style plaza would look good there.

    wks2003x: The terrain mod's Cycledoggs' terrain mod, which is IMO, one of the best ever, esp. when put together with the Brigantine water mod. Just a match made in heaven.

    And we've got a tiny town to show now! Borlis Pass. Only home to about 440 sims right at the east end of Titticaca, in the mountains.

    Borlis Pass guards one of three routes into Blackdelve Fields. The roads passing through Borlis Pass link Titticaca and Blackdelve Fields. Borlis Pass was founded as a stop-over point between the two cities in 206ADF [it is currently 220ADF]. Borlis Pass is relatively cool in the summer; freezing in winter - where temperatures can drop below 0C at night. Snow can occasionally fall, but it is sporadic and light. Every 10 years, a major blizzard can occur, and Borlis Pass is blocked off from civilisation. The last one occured in 216ADF.

    Blackdelve Scenic Drive's transition from a highway into a road. This is due to the difficult terrain. Though, gridlocks do sometimes happen here.

    Whoa!  Now that's a tiny town.  I must admit I feel a sense of serenity coming over me just looking at these shots....and the Blackdelve scenic drive is superb, although I can't help but wonder...just how bad are the gridlocks when the highway narrows to a road?  That's gotta be one heck of a bottleneck.  Perhaps dropping a toll booth on the highway would help.  Besides, don't you think sims should pay a simoleon or two for such a scenic and beautiful drive? 2.gif  Keep 'em coming!

    What a beautiful looking area and a wonderful job at working the terrain.  The roads through the area are top notch.

    allybabba: I'm actually using the Euro Road Mod, which can be found floating around somewhere in the Networks Modding section of the Custom Content category of the forum.

    wks2003x: Why, I could do that. This is the only route through the mountains, by the way. 3.gif Muahahaha.

    All: Thanks, guys. Next update coming soon.

    10 days overdue... noooo!

    Thank you, Newy.

    Well, let's pay another visit to Caladan.

    Since we left the pirates hard at work on Te Waikairou, the town has finally been finished, in its planning stages, but more still has to be done...news have been recieved that a roving band of Canadians have their eyes on the area... rumour has it that it has something to do with the large amount of trees growing here.

    Let's take a look at what they've done.
    Caladan001.jpg
    Here, is a plan for a seawall extension, you'll see the end results three months later. In this image, you can see what the pirates have done with all that empty space, filling it in with a small industrial park and some houses.

    Caladan002.jpg
    The end result. Turned out nice, don't you think? The stone walls were put in to define the levels of the two sections. The area has quite a few cabins.

    Caladan003.jpg
    The finished town of Caladan, but this was taken before the seawall construction (look to left of image). This was taken during autumn, when the seasonal trees stolen from a nearby town drop their leaves. You can also see the rich end of town, with the mayoral compound.

    Caladan004.jpg
    The Mayoral Compound. The home of Arr The Almighty. 3.gif It seems that unfortunately, his chaffeur has a fear of turning right... Got to get around to firing him. Out of a cannon. 3.gif

    Caladan005.jpg
    A simple but effective way to dispose of trash. Occasionally, a body may find its way there... Unfortunately, the side effects of this means that a lot of lil fishies will die. The place doesn't dump much trash, but this will soon be moved to a... er, nicer location. Nicer meaning that it will most probably be dumped on some unfortunate people out of town.

    And that was the end of Update 4 of the Caladan Saga. The next update will be the last one for Te Waikairou as we finish off the town.

    Cheers. --SA

    Hey SA, cool update.  10 days, yeah, that is much too long.

    I like what you did with the seawall extension area.  The cabins along the waterfront is a great idea.  How did you do the seawall here?  Is that a lot you made yourself or something available on the STEX?

    The mayor's compound looks great and it looks like I found a new fishing hole2.gif

    SA, glad to see you back. 10 days is a long time to go without my routine Dynasty fix.

    Interesting town you've got going. Although I'm curious about the local economic system...it seems like the $ and $$$ sims greatly outnumber the $$ sims. I wonder if all that money is going to that gorgeous mayor compound? 18.gif

    Anyways, superb job as usual! And nice work with the landfill. 11.gif

    The cabins along the waterfront (and the associated streams, walls, etc.) just look so wonderful and detailed. Seems to merge quite seamlessly with the old waterfront area too.

    Those are some AWESOME updates Shadow!! I'm still looking in awe at Cycledog's terrainmod, you make an excellent use of it! I like the developments as well as the mosaique pic. You manage to give everything a nice and charming taste, due to the detail you put in it! Great job, keep it up! 44.gif44.gif

    Ahh, why does RLS take great satisfaction in stabbing me in the back several times? 3.gif

    Dhoppeii: Glad you like it. I know it took a long time, but never fear. The seawall lots are actually a BSC hidden jewel, just search for seawall, and voila!

    Traffic_Jam: Thanks

    Glenni: Sadly, that's a bit ironic, isn't it? 18.gif

    wks2003x: Hmm, who knows. There's a lot of farmland, so that means most of the people are R$. But there's some R$$ obviously, just not as many as Dynasty (which goes 10/80/10)

    Deathtoall: Heh, kinda the same here.

    Darmok: Glad you like it. No problem, I'll keep myself alive. xD

    Oreon: Why, thanks.

    Jacqulina: Thanks, too. Actually, that reminds me, time to pay a visit to the Accomplishments thread.

    utora: Thanks

    Fosforito890: Thanks, too. But The Shining? Never heard of it, to be honest. 3.gif
    ~~~
    Now, seeing as I've had a very busy last two weeks, I haven't had much time playing SC4. Now, today was probably the first time I really got to play some Dynasty. Luckily, I've had some great ideas, and am looking at Dynasty with a refreshed view. But I'm not here to give a long-running speech (this ain't the Oscars, after all 3.gif)
    And it's pretty obvious that you guys just can't get enough of Dynasty. 3.gif
    And this is what an evening's work brought - a preview of Anacongua. Took me ages to get things right. 9.gif
    Commence preview.... now.
    Anacongua001.jpg
    [does fashion model announcer voice] Now, we have the new shipyards. It might seem difficult to get ships out, but never fear. In Stage 2 of this development, we'll have the hill on the other side brought back about 8 tiles, and built on with a retaining wall. Obviously, nothing's developed - it's not quite finished.
    But here's a plan.
    Anacongua002.jpg
    Parks and the industrial area are marked on this map. That's what we're going to see next, plus a couple more industrial areas.
    You can see the North Bank. Part of the North Bank residental development will be built by a Wellington-owned company, and essentially, everything in the development will be built and owned by Wellington, as per the rules of the military alliance (which I need to get around to posting) 3.gif.
    Sorry I couldn't get any more pics up - it's been a very busy week for me, and I'm just about burned out.
