Suplado: I plan to do some low rise buildings first before plunging myself to high rise buildings (and also transportation 9.gif ).. But it will be added to my list..

Richard: Not only that.. There's Serendra, The Columns, etc.. deim.. I hope we could do those.. well, maybe in the future..

I'm adding a beach resort(maybe dakak or the infamous beach resort, dos palmas) on my list of projects. well, for now, I'm taking a quick break from batting after my current project. I just need to attend some of my other commitments. One of it is cleaning up my messy pc.. I just finished moving a thousand *sob* of Simcity 4 zip files into its respective folders. Next one is cleaning up the plugins folder (which has almost 2,000 files and occupies around 2.5gig to 3 gig of my pc space.. *sob* *sob* )9.gif

Davirus: The jeepney automata is I think part of the list.. I'm hoping that we could make it as a replacement for the default buses or as addition to the buses. Mikeseith is I think the master in car automata but I think he haven't shared his/her secrets on it..

    Updates! Updates!

I just finished batting my second project. It is now called "Cityplace-Binondo".. It will on a 2x2 lot with at least 80-100 job openings. Hopefully, I could make a ploppable version of it and perhaps transit enabled.. Target date of upload will be this coming week. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.. Hopefully.. Anyway, here it is..

I need to get a shirt that says "I survived balut!". lol

Great little section you have here. Cool idea, though I doubt Simcity can accurately capture the helter skelter building style of the Philippines. I'd love to build a city like that though.

    COMMENTO CORNER

jpops: thanks.. Continuous batting is really draining. Really need to recharge a bit. oh btw, I'm planning to have a ploppable version of it and I don't have any idea how to do it. Maybe, you could give me some pointers on how to it.. 9.gif

filasimo: well, the BAT design is final. I just need to put it in a 2x2 lot.. 4.gif

infinitum: Actually, There is a National bookstore in that building. It is located at the first floor.. right beside it is the Blugre Cafe (For those who don't know. It is a coffee shop in Davao City. Their trademark: Durian Coffee.. )

iggyman: you're batting the SM MOA? hmmm....

davirus: Thanks. I'm still figuring out how will you make that automata thingie.. Hopefully, there will be a breakthrough or something. wish me luck. hehe

    *is a (former...kind of) Pinoy BATter himself*quote>

That explains your previous Rizal avatar.

If I can get my BATting knowledge up maybe I could tackle the automata (It would be nice to see jeepneys, LRT, and stuff like that).

God speed to your projects. I hope you get to the nice Makati buildings.

gt, to make building ploppable, just read and follow simgoober's excellent tutorial "Making a functional landmark lot" it's located in the omnibus section of this site. It's a fairly easy process, at least in comparison to modeling. As far a number of jobs, I use the formula of 10 per tile multiplied by the number of floors in the building. So 2X2 3 story-lot would have around 120 jobs. I then add or subtract from that numbr as I feel is necessary. Excellent work!

As for job numbers, nothing beats test-plopping an export the building next to some similarly sized Maxis buildings of the same class.

The modeling job is superb, and the night lights are truly amazing, congratulations! You did a mighty fine job there.

The only point I'm not entirely sure about is the texturing on the walls. All that white might end up looking a tad too bright. Have you thought about adding a slight gradient?

The roof texture, too, looks good - but it could look even better. As always, I find myself recommending 6459978's "Toronto BATs" thread on page 12. You will find an awesome texturing tutorial there. 4.gif

The best of luck and good progress with your further BAT (ad)ventures - it's certainly great to see some buildings from your corner of the world as well!

    jacqulina: thanks.. 4.gif

jpops: Thanks. I already visited that thread. Wohoo! Ploppable buildings! lol.. I just uploaded the final version of Cityplace-Binondo. It has a job count of 100 jobs. I guess that's realistic enough or something. Anyway, Thanks for the formula. It will be very helpful. 9.gif

T Wrecks: thanks bro.. I just added a few more junks on the roof because I feel there's too much empty space on it.. and the white walls, I made some adjustments on it just before exporting it so I think it won't be too bright or something and the some of its details will show up a bit.. Thanks for the comment. I truly appreciate it.. and I'll definitely visit his/her thread.

Guys, I just uploaded my 2nd BAT Project. Here is some ingame pics of it:

Wow thats awesome, these Pinoy BATs can come of great use to my CJ as it is in a tropical Asian region. Hmm i wonder if u can BAT some stilt houses or some thatched roof huts? Would be a great addition to the STEX! Oh and if u take a look at the airport thread, PAL has been textured and set to come out on the STEX in a few weeks!

Why don't you bat larger lots? like rizal park? the MRT LRT Stations for The Elevated rails? Skyscrapers in Makati and Ortigas? Malls?

THE SM Mall Of Asia? Universities? City Halls? etc.? please create it if possible...

Not just some tiny unpopular buildings...

mercedes: keep in mind that this is his 2nd BAT and among a list of BATs he will make. if you would like to contribute to the community and create some, pick up some BATting tutorials and learn how to BAT so we can have a wider variety of Filipino BATs. In due time will there be more but knowing GT is only one person it will take time so you will have to wait.

MercedesReno,Sodatwin: hwooow! Hold your horses bros.. This is just my second BAT.. We will get there in due time. 4.gif

suplado: you could get it at turbosquid.com.. BAT tutorials are available at omnibus section and also at SC4devotion.. Anyway, we(well at least for me some basics. hehe) are here to help you guys in starting batting.

PilotDaryl: That is awesome! Really really awesome! Btw, thanks for the plane template you gave me.. 9.gif

    jacqulina: Thanks!

Filasimo: Thanks also. About the Banana Trees, I think Goldiva has one. I think it is included in his Beach Tree pack or something. I will try to work on the bamboo since I think it will be simple to do..

I just edited the opening post of this thread and added the Cityplace and PilotDaryl's PAL 777-300.

BTW, what the heck happened to this site yesterday? I can't access it yesterday. It is just one blank page.. Terrorist attack or something?
