I would agree with this.  Maybe you can add a few extra tiles to one side with some more pond and landscaping.

Ukraina... well it has suffered same ordeal as did Russia Tower - ironic isn't it.

I've tinkered with those two models most in Max2009 Design only to discover that it was incompatible with BAT export when MentalRay is used. I've found tthe way to bring back some of the models but some things I've done were lost or transfered wrong.

To be honest I can't call this a total loss for several reasons. Firstly none of the models suffer any "fatal" damage and are fully recoverable with some time and effort. Secondly (and probably most important, that made me do some scripting and this way Preview for Bat4Max has be created. I think it should be a huge bonus for the the Bat4Maxing community. the core of this scrip can be and will eventually be used to created the whole new Bat4max. Some parts of it - namely truNite export script that cuts the overall export time by 1/3 and makes things pretier is already done and is in beta testing with few people. Some had reported they findings, and they are very positive, some haven't yet. It has been some time so I think I'll start pressuring them (hint, hint). There has been somewhat parallel development else where and I'm considering the ways to unify approaches so not to confuse the hell out of potential users.

But both Russia Tower and Ukraina shall be finished and made available to the public. I can't speculate on the timetable but every intermediate BAT I do brings it closer, not pushing it away, as all of them are sort of test-beds of new techniques and methods which would be too difficult and time consuming to test on the monsters like Russia or Ukraina... Ukraina could be totally realized with Max2008, for RT I would still prefer using Max2009 as it has some features that would be very beneficial, but we shall see.

this new residential complex is as some notices similar in some respects to Ukraina (albeit simpler), not architecturally but on some technical level.

Prototype for it is called Elsinor (russification of the Helsing

Well SimFox good luck with the new BAT4Max! I am really glad you are taking so much time to contribute to the Max/BAT cause! 9.gif

Thats too bad for your model, would have looked really cool with mental ray in the game.

    Again, O_o

Well it is good news at least. I was hoping that they were still floating out there waiting to be finished, but the fact that they are leading you to make the whole process easier is even better. Plus it gives you an excuse to make all this cool stuff getting practice for them!!! Regardless, this is looking great (especially with the RL picture in mind) and best of luck to you.

Looks great. I just hope the roof on those things aren't as... O_o ...Reflective. LOL, but I know your on top of that. The windows in the middle section of that last picture look really great.

I do have to agree with autoVino, while this style is "nice", I don't like it much. It has that inauthentic classical look to it that just screams "aesthetic gimmick". But that goes mostly for the RL version of this.

But, you are doing a spectacular job as usual,

I also agree with autovino, lol

But yeah, the BAT itself is definitely coming along well.

Beautiful! There's lots of that false-georgian or victorian or art deco theme around here...very nice. I don't think I need a camera anymore, your buildings look like pictures, I am serious, some of these I cannot tell truth from fiction. I fooled a couple of friends too...lol.
