    hello

    belfastuniguy---->

    yes, it is certain can be an insensible subject, but it is a real subject. he is something that we cannot hide, my intention is to recreate something bad and sad as an be the attacks later to be able to recreate the zone in construpcion the touching acts of memory to 11-s everything like in the real life,

    I do not try to recreate them with the intention to make damage or no, simply with the intention to recreate the history of the city of new York.

    thanks for your commentary.

    cmdp123789--------->

    the intention of the newspaper is to be able a little to show as new York advances, with construpcion of new buildings etc.

    the streets all but the majority you would not seran like the real ones,

    thanks. it will watch your new York right now2.gif

    tomvazquez---------->

    you are all the right! ... single it tried to follow the typical zone that all we are customary to have of Brooklyn, but I give all the reason you2.gif

    Wow! NYC is my favorite city. I've been waiting to see a realistic version of it, so far this seems to be the most realistic version yet! Can't wait for more!

    I would like to see a pic of your entire region up to now, to see how it looks from bird eyes!! O sea que tus calles no estan como en la ciudad de verdad? Deberias probar hacer la ciudad de esa forma, te va a facilitar las cosas. Una pregunta, como hiciste ese tipo de arboles en las calles? como haces para controlar el nivel de los edificios? yo vi esos edificios en brooklyn y quiero saber como haces para que crezcan esos edificios bajitos, espero tu respuesta

    I am definetely looking forward to more of your work...!!!! Since I am working on a not yet released version of NYC I am very interested in your aproach to the city! I bet that you are not only providing us with the 'easy- to -do- districts' like griddy Manhattatan, but also with The Bronx, Brooklyn, more suburbs, and the North of Manhattan.. and finally New Jersey... omg, what a challenge... if you need a brother in pain 2.gif - just pm me!! Good luck!

    Thanks keils, glad to be of inspiration!

    Some pointers though, Brooklyn has all types of classes and people. Low, middle and wealthy like any city. Be careful what you say because you could unintentionally offend someone and misrepresent  an area. 2.gif Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope and DUMBO are just a few of the nice areas in Brooklyn. Just do a Google search to browse through images. Brooklyn has some great architecture.

    Also, be sure to place those famous brownstones, they are one of the signatures of the city.  I'll release my brownstones soon to save you some BAT work.

    Also, I would err on the side of caution and recommend you not recreate 9/11 here. If you would like to represent it as a historical event and pay tribute you could provide a link to a tasteful anniversary tribute hosted off site.

    I'm excited to see One Penn Plaza make its way into SimCity. Did you make it yourself? If so, I can PM you some with helpful BAT tips. Also, did you get 22 Cortland Street from the 3D Warehouse and convert it to BAT? If so, be careful because those models are under copyright of Google and the original creators so you'll have to get their permission if you want to upload them to the STEX. (I'm still waiting for word back from my inquiry. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll allow it but who knows.)

    Keep up the good work I can't wait to see New York on the NHP map.

    Battery Park (to New Yorkers, The Battery) is a 21-acre (8.5 ha) public park located at the southern tip of the New York City borough of Manhattan, on New York Harbor. The park is named for the artillery that was stationed there at various times by the Dutch and British in order to protect the harbor. At one end of the park is Pier A and Hope Garden, a memorial to AIDS victims. At the other end is Battery Gardens restaurant, next to the United States Coast Guard Battery Building. Along the waterfront, ferries depart for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

    To the northwest of the park lies Battery Park City, an area of landfill redevelopment built in the 1970s and 80s, which includes Robert F. Wagner Park and the Battery Park City Promenade. Together with Hudson River Park a system of greenspaces, bikeways and promenades now extend up the Hudson shoreline. A bikeway is being built through the park that will connect the Hudson River and East River parts of the Manhattan Waterfront Greenway. Across State Street to the northeast lies the U.S. Customs House/Museum of the American Indian. Peter Minuit Plaza abuts the southeast end of the park, directly in front of the South Ferry Terminal of the Staten Island Ferry.
