Once again, you have made a great update!  Its been a while since we've seen a Red River update!  I really like how you made the bridge!

-One pointer I should make about the RHW.  It seems you keep shifting the network one tile instead of curving it all at once.  Included in the RHW is a smooth one tile "lane shift" puzzle piece that gently moves the network one tile left or right.  If you want to see an example, HERE is a pic of mine how multiple lane shifts can look great.

I'll be back for more SAC beebs, don't you worry!

Best,

-Haljackey

Nice work beebs. You can tell I have grown to become a fan. Nice farmland and RHW. Thankyou for those warehouses.

Very nice 4.gif I really like the farmland!  If I were you, I'd do some photoshopping on that bridge though... make it look more old 21.gif

Great work, beebs! I love the small town feel. I take so much inspiration from this, you have no idea. Between you and jacqulina, Simtropolis has the best examples of rural planning out there.

Update time! 9.gif Just two new developments in two of our towns. Lets take a look!

    newdev1.jpg

Oooh! Finally a new development in Capilano Valley! They're starting to build on the other side of the river, where things join up. I'll have a new region shot for you in the next update, you'll be able to see better then.

    newdev2.jpg

It's in land just annexed by the city. Demand for residential has shot up in Capilano, as the city is becoming quite the destination for those who prefer a larger town feel but don't want to be amazingly far away from Banff or Jasper.

    newdev3.jpg

The city didn't quite anticipate the rapid growth of this neighborhood. It's making adjustments to the neighborhood plan to allow for a second entrance and will be adding lights in to this main entrance by the end of the year.

    newdev4.jpg

As well, there are plans to start construction of a new school in that central park. For now, kids are having to bus it into town.

    whitefishbayupdate.jpg

    resdev2.jpg

    And, here's Whitefish Bay's newest!

    resdev3.jpg

The acreage feel is a stark contrast from the bustling, compact style of Capilano Valley, eh?

    resdev1.jpg

Rainy Creek Rd. (Range Rd. 443) winds through and provides the entrance to the area. In a few updates, I'll show you the roads namesake. 2.gif

And that's all for now, guys! Stay tuned for our next update, hopefully coming this weekend! 4.gif

    commentssac.jpg

haljackey: Thanks, hal! And yeah, I've got that. I was just hurrying to get the update finished so I didn't want to fiddle around with the puzzle pieces. I'll make it all great for ya next time I show it off. 2.gif

    un1: Thanks! And not a problem 4.gif

Ah, its good to see Capilano Valley again! Nice work with your new developments! Whitefish Bay looks very good too.

I see extensive use of the NAM road curves and shifts in the last photo. Just wait'till FAR is publicly released! You can finally break away from the grid!

    Best,

    -Haljackey

I love the many round abouts and the windy roads 9.gif

It is quite an impressive update, i like to forest too, makes it more realistic with more trees, greens and landforms.

    Two thumbs up 4.gif

    Oooh, a big update.

I like that development in Capilano Valley. The first picture is nice and realistic.

As for Whitefish Bay, again, lovely work and quite realistic. And if I could have a house like those in the upper left corner of the first picture, that'd be great. 2.gif

    'Til next time-
