Nice idea for a thread!

I won't overwhelm this, but heres a bunch of my pics!

EDIT: I use widescreen format, and I was not able to resize some pictures, as these may look odd compared to the ones I had sucess with.

RHW and Big Dig lots in newly constructed city artery

Parclo B2 RHW interchange (4 ramps).  Construction is  widening the overpass to avenue, as it will be released in the next RHW version.

-This picture is also intresting because it allows for a future 8-lane RHW to be built in the median and room at the sides can upgrade the interchange to a Parclo A4 (6 ramps).

Here are a few shots  of the RHW in my CJ, from the very first update. . .

. . .to the most recent one:

Though never the starring role, the RHW has played a very important part in my CJ. It was the only thing around in the very beginning, and has been constant throughout the town's growth.

Nice thread idea, hoshattack, and really nice pics everyone!  It's interesting to see how other people use the RHW

By the way, haljackey, I believe the stuff in mjig_dudy's pic are the result of new projects he's been working on.

Sometime later, I may have to show some of my RHW set up.  I've got some interesting things in the works.2.gif

Nice pics everyone. A question though

@pvarcoe: how did you get it to flood like that?

    Hi daniel01.

I use one of cycledogg's terrain mods.

Included in that mod is a "snowcapped" file that I modified in reader.

In that file I lowered the sea level.

Then a created some highways (and a town too).

    I saved the game.

Then changed the sea level back to it's original level in the snowcapped file.

The re-opened the game, and viola.

The town and highway are under water.

Just thought I might showcase a couple pics of my multi-RHW.  These are just a couple of experiments that worked out great. as I have had failures.  Check out the main multi RHW thread in the transit forum or just follow my signature link.

10 lanes.  Regular highway serves as the main express line and the RHW serves as collector lanes for local traffic.

    img258/9263/ultimatebeachdec1061159ig1.jpg

Here is a complex ave interchange I managed to make work effectively for the Multi RHW.

    img112/4268/ultimatebeachjun2301115bo6.jpg

This is a section of the Mulit RHW between interchange and a connecting junction.

    Well, hoped you liked it!

haljackey, that's freaking amazing.  Really.18.gif  That's bonafide CJ material.  I can't wait to see what you do with the RHWMIS when I finish it . . .

Here's a little preview of my new mini-CJ, Argentum (coming in April), which will focus on a lot of transportation reconstruction projects, most of which will involve the RHWMIS.

This isn't much, just one of what will be many construction shots.  It is an interchange in the southern suburb of Angstrom, which will be undergoing extensive reconstruction/realignment:

I'm still figuring out what all I'm going to do with this interchange and the surrounding surface streets, since there's a lot of options . . .

Just search for "construction" on the STEX; there are quite a few of the lots out there.

Those are interesting concepts, but they are crudely implemented. Also, somebody should develop a "clean" version of those interchanges for both the rural highways and the default ones too.

godjcjk12:  Your pic didn't show up, at least for me.  Try uploading to Imageshack (http://imageshack.us).  Then just copy and paste the last URL it gives you when you upload it, and use the "Insert/Edit Image" (the mountain with the sun, next to the Smiley button) and paste the URL in there.

Heres an interchange(Parclo-A4 type)  that I built using the latest version of the RHW (version 0.13).  The newest release allows for better connectivity and flexibility with the RHW and also has several new overpasses.

You can click here to view the image in an uncompressed format.

haljackey, glad to see someone's getting some use out of the new Avenue-over-RHW puzzle piece.  I can't wait to see what you do with that interchange once I finish up the RHWMIS. 2.gif
