Very nice update its very nice to see more areas around the republic.

Everything looks very promising there, AL Ghobar looks nice as do the wetlands and everything else in that screenie! Nice job with the tower block lots as well.

Very nice update I can't wait for the next one!

The seccond pic of that last update is one of your best so far. I don't know what you did, but the blur effect works even better. The lotting is great too.

I don't know... I liked it better when the prince guy was in power. New govt. reminds me on Somolia.

How about a full scale invasion by IPON and NATO that puts that Col. guy down to selling crack

However, the government of The Southern Socialist Federation wants to stay neutral.

Great! The reabuilt Ghobar is better in my opinion. The river was a great idea. You 've done your river so realistic. I like the tiny green area on the banks of the river. Great.

Hopes the Colonel can defend its power.

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Seems the revolution is in some ways helping the country... But I don't like this General whatshisface... But anyways, the wetlands look great! and Al Ghobar looks good too!

this is some great work! i like how you used the SAM where you have sand with the streets where the sidewalks usually are. and that overview is great!

i also like how you re-lotted those apartment blocks. it's great to see that some CJers always customize their lots to the max, just to make their cities unique from everyone else's. nice work!

    Replies:

Callbat:Thanks, I'm working on finishing off the northern areas so expect to see more of them soon. The wetlands are taking a long time though with all the farms to plop by hand 14.gif

seemurray2:Thanks! a little of photoshop does help 3.gif

    bbfan02:Thanks 2.gif

Mulefisk:Thanks, probably my fave pic too

suplado!:Thanks, I felt like adding some greenery to make the desert more interesting, need something to spice it up a little .

    nazaguy:Thanks!

    Simfan34:Thanks for the comment 3.gif

    allez l'om:Thanks!

Mike the Mayor:Thanks, hope to see you again 2.gif

    s_olah:Thanks!

El Burro:Thanks for the support! the leaders of Khaled are finding the trip to Sakhaliyah for the summit quite informative 2.gif

underwearman2007:Thanks, well opinion is mixed in the country as some Khaledis benefited from the monarchy, but I can't see an invasion at this moment from IPON as there is some support for the Colonel, and can NATO get involved in another war  ? I'm not sure I see the correlation with Somalia though!

ExiL3:Thanks, good to see you around!

crazyarchitect:Thanks, with the revolution suddenly the countries surrounding Khaled have become hostile so invasion could be a vague possiblity in the horizon.

    panthersimcity4:Thanks!

bokrif:Thanks, it took me about 4 tries to get Al Ghobar correct but this version I feel is best, I try to be neutral but  I hope personally the Colonel can stick in there 3.gif

sEAhAwk fAn121:Thanks, well as with most things its a mix of the good and the bad

Dsrwhat316:Thanks, the SAM mod has been a great addition, especially for unpaved roads in slums like in this update. I've just started relotting again and it really helps to try an build a a unique character for the city 2.gif

Excellent update here, glad to see this CJ still going strong. Just one minor point. On Green Square one set of flags is blowing to the left, while the other is blowing in the opposite direction, cant have em blow both ways 3.gif

I do believe this is my first comment in this thread, so obviously Ive missed quite a lot. 21.gif

I like the last update, the city style is unlike anything Ive seen yet. I would have more to say but right now I'm updating myself with the last... 34 pages! jeez. anyway, can't wait for more updates! I like what I see so far. 48.gif

Fantastic update. One of the things I noticed (and liked) in your pictures was the large number of green flags and boards and such. Nothing like a little government propaganda to get the people in line (even in a democratic state).

really liked green square and the last pic (with partial shot of interchange and highway and a housing project)

green square (i suspect) was built to convey a message to the people that a new power is here to stay? 9.gif
