Ok, that will be very easy for me!4.gif Or we could ditch the white and then use the aqua colors for the commercial. Also, I will still go ahead and do the colors for commercial and will work on that pretty much right away! Oh, I also noticed that stamp in the SimMars Beta forum has explained that maybe the kmay.id and krgn.id was included in the installer and when uninstalled those files would disappear. It is related to the music problem. He or she said that if there is a next Beta that those files would be addressed. Ok, I have made adjustments to the zones and I want to see if you will like it. Commercial has white, gray, and then black (order of density from lowest to highest). Industrial is maxis defaults. Residential is the red default also. I tweaked the zone colors for the RCI data graph. I included the picture in this post. Sorry for the terrain, I forgot to put the red zone colors mod in. If you want the pic of it in the red terrain just pm me. updated: I took pictures for the red terrain. Sorry, I thought I put this update on here a day ago.     Yeah it definitely has to be tested on the red terrain. It changes the appearance. And remember to test on a normal altitute. Please post a pic, thanks.

    Also: Please use white for the RCI data graph instead of black, thanks.

    Great that looks very good! Please sent it to me then I can test it ingame and post a pic. I'm sure it will look great!

    By the way: It's better to post a new post instead of updating, I didn't see that you updated and I was waiting just like you, lol.

    Regarding the kmay.id and krgn.id, I don't know what they are for. But it's good to have this info incase we run into trouble with the next installer.

    I included the Prison and the Small Clinic to the mod yesterday. Yahoo! Next I will make a BAT for Information & Knowledge Center (library function)

    Also 2ch is rendering the highschool model. After that we are almost ready to go! Just the rock and people animation mod and off we go with the installer.. 4.gif)

    Here it is2.gif I will try once again on the people modding, but I can't seem to find the exemplar file to make the people invisible. Also, I can try with changing the flora into rocks. I just need the rock models4.gif

    OK, looks good! The only thing is the low density. Is it possible to make it more look like white?

    Now the original Zoning mod from karaka had zoning rules included. Can you implement them into your mod?

    Unfortunately, it is out of my reach. For some reason simcity doesn't use the exact look of the color that I choose. I had to use pure black for the high density even though it doesn't look that way. It's just that simcity is stubborn15.gif. With turning the maxis flora into rocks. I will have to experiment with it. In the meantime, if fukuda gets it done just tell me because it almost seems out of my reach. edit: On the RCI data graph thingy. I will try, but I need to find where it is located. I think it is possible, so it certainly can be done.

    @aking88: I'm not sure yet how the installer will be programmed, if possible we'll try to include a switch function, but I can't promise it right now.

    Ok, at this point there are only two things left:

    Crazykid, the RCI graph and

    Fukuda, the rock replacement.

    If we have that we can program the installer

    Hard to say. Well, there is the basic set of functional buildings so you can supply the colony, but the growables are far from enough to give variety, just a very first, small set.

    Hey, I don't think I can do the RCI graph. I tried to change the colors for the zone menu and told the exemplar to choose that PNG file, but Simcity is stubborn and doesn't think it is right. The game crashes before you even see the EA logo.32.gif Because of this I cannot do it. I am using ilive reader. If you know a program that can read simcity's DAT file and edit pictures inside the program please tell me. With ilive reader I have to export the picture and then import it back into the DAT which I think causes the game to not realize that it is there.

    @crazykid: Hm, too bad. But thanks 4 trying, maybe we can figure it out at a later point.

    @Leoz: Ask the stars they might know the answers, lol. We are about tobegin BETA 2 Pretesting. Once tested it will be published on the ST Modds site.

    Gizmo28 did make something called  SIMMARS UI, which can be found Here. I'm not sure if it changes the color of the graph or not.

    Edit: I can't wait until it's realeased.

    @scififan: Thanks 4 the info 4.gif I doubt it changes the color, since the new zone colors were introduced just recently

    Pre-Testing for BETA 2 has begun, invitations have been sent.

    I just want to know - what sort of growable buildings are in need the most?

    CO$$ stage 5? R$ stage 7? I-dirty? What do we have and what are we missing? Can I assume that for R and CS/CO, anything above stage4 is in need? I'm strong at such things - high density scifi style

    The main focus is lower stages because we need to have a certain set ready to be able to grow a city and move up to larger scales. If you are best in higher stages then go ahead, we need all kinds in the end. Just the supertall you can leave out at this stage because it will take a LOT of medium tall BATs to be able to grow those.

    Just to give an update on what's going on ATM:

    I'm currently waiting for fukuda to get back to me regarding the fixed rock-mod. When we have that the installer will be set up, Andreas Roth kindly offered to program it. All files have been pre-tested and fixed were necessary. In the meantime I made a bus station so the first mass-transit is available at last. Also we now have a nuclear power plant as well as a new stage 7 Office tower and a stage 6 Res tower and some more stage 1 Res models. I contacted fabfab after receiving mprocah's list of possible BATs for SimMars and he was happy to agree to share his BATs. I also contacted Somy, waiting for reply. I'll post some update pics tomorrow.
