CEASEFIRE REACHED, MAJORITY OF THE CITY DESTROYED

Olympus City, Olympus ( Olympus City Press O.C.P. ) After numerous airstrikes unleased upon Olympus City, and violent groundwars, fighting was ordered to stop. Unknowingly the order came from both militaries from their respective government officials. Apparently, diplomatic talks took place moments ago between the two republics in Cherry Oaks and a ceasefire was reached under proper conditions, the exchanges of the captive naval crews that were captured by both sides and noninvolvement of political affairs, such as the situation that happened with the TPRS. Once the two republic diplomats signed off the agreement, an immediate halt to fighting was ordered. This may have been a sigh of relief for the two republics both unfortunately there was nothing left of Olympus City and a mass reconstruction is expected to resume once the Cherry Oaks Military leaves the city. The reported death toll for the two republics have been reported to be in the millions. Gravely, during the airstrikes, President Flop was critically wounded and remains in severe critical condition at Olympus City Memorial Hospital. To represent President Flop at the diplomatic talks was Vice President Prometheus. Vice President Prometheus has order all Olympian refugees to pick up whatever belongings and valuables they can take and to stay in Sydney and Coral Bay. President Seahawk from Sydney has opened their hands for Olympian refugees to reside in the city until Olympus City is rebuilt and safe to live. In addition, President Hawkeye from Coral Bay has offered up support of taking in refugees. Donations and aid were given to the Olympian refugees to further assist their losses. In addition President Porter from the City of Pine Grove has also prepared places for the Olympian refugees to reside in.The Government of Olympus City has offered their thanks and appreciation to the respective  governments offering their city as a temporary home.  The Government of Olympus City is asking for aid to any city or country that is willing to help with the rebuilding of Olympus City.

Coral Bay is glad to help. The construction of over 5 stadiums for the simlympics wont be used (if even used) for a few months, refuges are welcome. I will order supplies and CORAL AIR should have those in soon. Anyways nice cj, and hope reconstruction goes well.

The residents of Pine Grove have etended a helping hand in light of the recent conflicts in the Olympus region. Many areas of the city have recently built new. We in Pine Grove send our greatest sympathy, and have started a metro wide fund to help with the rebuilding project. Also, all refugees will be given low tax housing near our downtown area.

Housig is expect to be finised by the end of Spring, and until then, all area hotels are willing to hold all refugees for free (The city will cover the bill). Also, the government in Olympus is more tha welcome to borrow space in the new downtown city hall until govenmental buildigs are rebuilt.

AN ORDER HAS BEEN PUT INTO EFFECT FOR ALL OLYMPIAN REFUGEES TO EVACUATE TO SURROUNDING CITIES

Olympus City, Olympus (Olympus City Press O.C.P.) An order has been issued to Olympians to evacuate the ravaged city to the surrounding cities: Pine Grove, Sydney, Coral Bay, and the regions of Borden and Austin as advised by President Socom. Military transportation by the Olympus City Military will be provided for all refugees. People are to gather at the southern part of Olympus City where there is a stretch of highway left. There they will be given vouchers and nourishments for the long ride to the cities. The Olympus City Government is urging all residents to evacuate. The existing buildings are not inhabitable for they are all structurally unsafe.

Pine Grove has issued a state of emergency for all of Olympus City. Many city services, including fire, police, and power, and the National Guard, are sending reenforcements to help in the evacutation effort as to help in every way possible to ensure all Olympus refugees arrive safely. Once ok'd y government officials, the city hopes to take a major part in the rebuild effort

The city has already opened it's hearts and doors to this ill fated region, and already a staggering $1.1 billion has been donated from the city, it;s residents, and coporations.

Once again, we hope for the very best towards Olympus, and advise them to stay safe in this time of crisis.

-Mayor Porter in a televised press conference regarding the Olympus situation.

Due to tensions in my region, ALL of filasimos refugees will be redirected to Refugee City. It has been taking a long time due to a SAM missle shooting down a civilian plane. I can accept refugees now.

OLYMPUS CITY STARTS THE BUILDING PROCESS

Olympus City, Olympus (Olympis City Press O.C.P.) Reconstruction is now underway in Olympus City as unsafe buildings have been destroyed and civic establishments are being rebuilt. The new Olympus City Capitol and Memorial have been completed and has accomodated enough spaces for the 600,000 Olympians perished during the War of the Republics. Underway of being completed is the new Olympus City Energy and Water Management Sector so power and water can be quickly turned on as the process of building the new downtown begins within the next few months. Plans are to have a mass transit rail system connecting the central downtown area of the city to the new Khaos International Airport named after General Khaos of the Olympus City Air Command that is in the process of breaking ground. The new highway leading into the city is also starting to take shape surely but slowly as alot of detail is going to be put in the new highway designs. Olympus City refugees/evacuees are urged to stay in the cities they are residing in right now until parts of the city reopens.

Well. The good thing about destroying civilizations, is that you can always start over again. And do better than the previous try. I'm sure the new Olympus City will be fantastic.

Can't wait to see it. 9.gif

OLYMPUS CITY BEGINS TO SHOW SIGNS OF LIFE, FIRST BUILDINGS ARE COMPLETED

Olympus City, Olympus (Olympus City Press O.C.P.) Progress has been underway since engineers and city planners have been rebuilding Olympus City and now a portion of the city have been completed. It is advised for Olympus City residents to stay at their current places for it is still difficult to access that part of the city due to intense construction that is underway. There will be an announcement when it is safe to come back to the city in the next coming months. Vice President Prometheus still residing in place of the hospitalized President Flop gave a state address today and he had this to say,"These past few years after the War of the Republics has been a long journey for most of us. Many farewells to our loved ones who perished during the war. New transitions into new cities that have offered their hand of friendship to take them into their loving communities. Well my fellow Olympians, Coral Bayans, Sydenyians, Pine Grovians, Borden and Austinians, Olympus City has been REBORN! A portion of the city has now been completed and as soon as three more sectors are completed and is accessible, we will start letting Olympians come back to the city. All that you have lost will be compensated by the Olympus City Government. To the Respective governments that has taken our beloved Olympians in. I assure you to not worry about high abandonement rates because I'm sure that once Olympus City is fully operational the people will already have deepseeded roots that they will be a part of your city as well as their own." The Vice President had a standing ovation by government officials and lawmakers at the steps of the new Capitol and Memorial Cemeteray and cheers and praise can be heard all around the other cities where Olympians are now residing.

Progress is now taking shape on a section of downtown:
