Coral Bay

         Welcome to my first attempt on a city journal. I have been working on this region for about 2 months and hope you like it. Below are some info on the region.

I also have tons and tons of stex downloads, I would like to thank everyone who uploads mods

and buildings to the stex.

Region Info:

     The map i am using is a 3 by 3 medium square map. IT was hand terraformed by me so its not the best. The map is already completed and very little work will be done on it. The city resembles a southern californian city in my opinion but you my think diffrent. The history to the region I will come up with in future updates.

I love the region! I like small regions like that, with a lot of water and coast. Excellent transportation network! I can't wait for some inner-city pictures!

          This update will show you some random areas of the city rather than one specific one, Enjoy.

                  Below is a picture of the region of Coral Bay

             This is a picture of an average suburb in the city

          This is the city center of riverside, it is not the main comercial district but does have some nice skyscrapers.

          This is a picture of old town, the most historic part of the city, This is mainly what the next update will be on.

connor_v- Thankyou for stopping by again. I will agree with that I am not a big fan of skyscraper forestest. But as Goin2chicago pointed out I like to put a little of everything in my cities.

scba- That park is the best, I couldn't of find a better baseball stadium. Thankyou for making that.

    This update will probally have the most text out of all of them.  Since this update is on old town I thought anding some history would be nice, so here it is...

     Below is a Picture of Explorer Bob's boat, He was on an expiditon when he stumbled upon an empty land. He sailed Into the bay and the hull of his boat hit coral, He was able to make it to land were The citie of Coral Bay would start.

 

So he started a city, He made housing and schools and soon people were flocking to the city

    Below is the Coral Inn. It was built to hold all the people flocking in to the newly found coral Bay. 

         The night inn stay, was built for the same reason as the Coral Inn, and were the first hotels in Coral Bay

This is the school and mueseum of old town.

 With the growing demand the mayor demanded a power plant. They built the one below.

  The mayor also built Coral Bays first cemetary, seen below.

 Now 120 years later modern hotels have moved into coral bay.

 The following is an overview of the city.

              Now that thats out of the way its time for the good stuff. Todays update is going to have random pictures of the suburbs. Since my regioon is mainly 40% suburb you can bet this wont be the only update with suburb in the name, enjoy.

The following few are of the Aspen shopping center.

This is the Parkside office tower. It is built inside the interstate 5 and 9 interchange.
