BFA Governor-General H. J. "Hoppy" Franciflora reports progress in the Coronation Accords being negotiated in Temple Terrace. New representatives of the feline Blitkarni have arrived, welcomed at a state dinner last night the Grand Ballroom.

The menu of the state dinner included sardine hash, chipmunk a la parrilla, carne con carne, and braised tweety bird

No formal announcement has been made yet, but BFA officials say the delegates are near agreement on several key points as negotiations continue. Frequent napping and looking out windows is slowing the negotiations somewhat, but the delegates are not concerned with a time table.

Schulmanicus: Wanda's Response

The Supreme Wirdle received a firmly worded statement from the townsfolk of Wanda not long ago.

Now, this might not look very tough to you, but when the mighty wrath of the Supreme Wirdle is unleashed, the claws will be merciless! So, this statement is about as harsh as anyone gets when speaking to her. No one in their right mind would push too far and get a shredding.

Before we see what the Supreme Wirdle's response is to Wanda, let's see how the little town which thinks big is doing.

The road between Wanda and Busscastle was recently repaved and newly planted trees provide welcome shade on warm autumn days.

Just like Busscastle, Wanda's largest neighbor, new plantings and with Schulmania flag mark the entrance to town.

Taking the wider view, one can see the tiny town with the original castle and the settlements around the Newport docks.

Having taken their request under advisement, the Supreme Wirdle commissioned her favorite heraldic artist, Molor Kahless, to design a new emblem suitable for the burgeoning town. Here's the final product.
