Her trading card, released today, is sure to be a hit with kids of all ages - and destined to rise in value! Feel free to stop by the Governor's House in Gran Maru and pay your respects. She is having cake, ice cream, and Fancy Feast.quote>

Well if these are anything like Yu gi oh! card then I will pass - too many arguments over the "rules" and whose card is the strongest, or who can summon who from the graveyard...

But I will take some icecream and cake...  pass on the fancy feast, thanks all the same.

suplado! These are like the Yu-gi-Oh! Of Schulmania!

Hester I'll trade your 2 Captain Smilin' Joe Fissions and a Fleet Captain Splunt for my Governor Cawale card.

Bakercity She sends her thanks - and hopes you got your fill of cake and ice cream!

Abcvs Not too many rules... according to the governor... the rule is - she's always right. I am not sure about graveyards, but I do know she has quite a few attack points!

Devonshire: Schulmericho - The Wall Street Market

Schulmericho, originally planned to be the largest and capital city of the nation, even in its smaller form remains a potent trading center. It strategic southeastern location provides access to the Devonshire hinterlands as well as a connection to the southern islands and Wirdleonia coastline. The compact and densely populated town quickly became the largest and most populous in Devonshire. The Passage, leading from the walled town to the port, is a busy commercial area. Around Memorial Square lurk additional businesses. Another center of activity is along Wall Street, which runs along the northern edge of the city walls, overlooking Devon Creek. The Wall Street Market is the commercial heart of the southern Devonshire region and one of the busiest trading sites in Schulmania. So, off to explore the marketplace...

    market4fq7.jpg

Where Wall Street gets its name...

    market1qp2.jpg

As viewed from the north, the central marketplace can be seen near the northeastern city gate. In addition to its bourse, several adjacent buildings provide trading and office space for the many entrepreneurs who are looking to strike it rich in Schulmericho.

The central marketplace and Cataçao Court.

    market2sn5.jpg

A more central view of the markets. The central marketplace is in the center. The edge of the northeastern gate is to the left. The cross street toward the top right is Church Street, which leads to the St. Francis & St. Flora as well as Memorial Square. The buildings to the left of the central marketplace in the image above are trading floors for the infrastructure trades- pipes/plumbing, construction materials, windowmakers, wagon builders, and of course metalworkers.

    market12nh2.jpg

The markets bring in over 200,000 schulmonetas daily to the Schulmericho economy.

    market3ht6.jpg

On the other side of the central marketplace are offices for buyers and traders. Across Wall Street can be found a multitude of offices in multistory structures. This high density, high profit area is the incubator for many new businesses in the region. Moe, Larry & Surly started a business in the corner building. Surly bought his partners out last month and now is going solo.

Several restaurants on Cataçao Court provide the food the Schulminions need to make big money on the markets.

    market8ka8.jpg

A lovely café nearby offers the finest in fast food and ice cream. Today's special - peach-free peach ice cream.

    market11zt5.jpg

Butterpaw Plaza offers a great place to mingle- and to network - and is the setting where many a business deal has been made. Why, just last month, over coffee, a merger was sealed here - joining Pipes 'R Us and Marine Plumbers of Greater Devonshire. The new company, U-Boat Plumbing, is sure to be a great success.

I'm really digging the placement of those city walls and the market; the layout's fantastic! Also, the end banner was very creative, and ties in with the old feel of the town.
