Thanks for the kind words people!

Shadow_Assasin Yes that could certainly be done at some point, however I'd need someone to do that for me (Props and modding are not something I can do).

    Here's an update:

Jason Thanks! The only other stuff I can think of in the same 1930's style is by the late gascooker.

The real building actually has no roof junk, so that will be the same with this, However I have no idea where the hell the TV ariels go.

    Edit: page 2 woo!

I've yet to add Fire escape stairs to the back, and I'll definately be adding more little details.

Just realised, catmul rom isn't on so it's a bit blurry!

No roof junk, well I'm hard pressed to believe you.. but sure, fine. However, the roof texture's gotta change. Right now it's flat and tiling. It's a simple roofline, just create a custom texture with it and add some "noise" so to speak.

The brick on the roof of that window bay needs to go. And I agree with 6459978. about the texturing...

My mistake, the real cromer mansions actually has 3 very tiny pieces of roof junk (I have no idea what they are).

Anyway, a quick update to office park 3, the colour has been adjusted slightly and more roofjunk added:

That's what I thought at first, but it happened twice.  Unless someone posted and deleted their post twice.

    It was the gremlins!

no, the second time It was me, I confess. I saw it in the middle of the page and wondered what was up and I didn't look at the dates.

But then how it got up to page one in the first place is a bit of a mystery. Why would someone search and post in a dead thread like this?

You have great skills Toxicpiano! Your buildings are looking very promising!

I see your using a different modelling program to Gmax...is this easier to use in your opinion??? And is exporting to the SC4 BAT programmes more difficult???

wallasey: please don't comment in threads that have been inactive for such long periods ( over a year in this case).

But to answer your question, Max is easier because it allows you to more things, but exporting is more complicated. All in all, the results are significant;y better.
