May I ask how could you make it possible to run that many kind of trains on track without mixing the coachs together?

So there are 5 trains showing in these pics because I swapped out the regular passenger train and the HSR train just to see different things run on the new tracks.  I like to have more passenger trains (for some reason I'm not into freight right at the moment!) so I installed the brilliant TGV Duplex by @Girafe to replace the freight train.  In pics 1 and 4 then you have what is possible at one time - the red LNER train is the regular passenger train, the Eurostar is the HSR train, and the TGV freight train replacement.  In the other pics I had changed out the Eurostar for the bullet train and a put in a different passenger train.

I would love to see other angles of this station.

A little late, but I dug up a screenshot I posted a few years ago of this city under construction that shows the context of the station I posted.

Nice freight area.

I suggest you to use the "Minimize button remover" and the "SMP Yellow Pause thingy Remover" to make photos

Thanks @Flann, it is a smart design. I since figured out that you actually used two stations:

The Curzon Street Station terminus and the the Greenwood station over a segment of sunken railway. That was very skilfully done. Below I add the links to the stations in case anybody is interested.

I have one question though: What did you use to create the vertical walls around the sunken station?

Those are the Heretic Slope Side Walls

I love the ability of having underground rails to allow more room to work on areas

What is that lot or set above your railroad with the mining equipment?

Also, I love your wild west look and terrain, how did you do that?

Like the idea, station as suburban would rather use Tadasu sunken rail !

Gap can be reduced to single plaza !

Sincerely yours,

I do enjoy the new liveries added to the locos and rolling stock in these screenshots. :)

I do appreciate your trains so much!  And studying your work I have been able to teach myself so much about how the train automata really work and what we can do with them so THANKS A LOT!

A few trains for this evening.  I'm experimenting with darkening the track texture as I decided to darken my base earth texture as well.  It really highlights for me again how much trackage there really is and how much work the NAM team has to put into it.  The results are a lot of fun though.

Apologies, because I feel like I’ve seen you answer this before (maybe even from me), but how do you accomplish the sunken ramp right next the other track? Is the upper track all one custom lot with the slope value set such that it remains flat? And are the walls your own props?

Also, on your post a few days ago, I notice a combination of single decker and double decker passenger trains. Is one standing in for the freight train so as to avoid mixing and matching cars?

Thanks, and very impressive as always.

Thanks for the nice words!  You're exactly right that the upper track is all one transit enabled lot with the slope value set to keep it completely upright, I call these lots 'rail walls' in my own nomenclature.  You have to build them with length to go just past the tunnel and reach the original height at the top of the ramped trackage at the other end.  They work great though and allow me to build tracks so much more prototypically.  And the wall concrete is my own texture.

I think the single decker/double decker pic you're referring to above is the one where the double, being led by a cab car, is merging onto the straight track and the single is behind it?  The single is actually an HSR train, a repainted version of @dragonsteincole great Class 800.  The pic directly above where the TGV is dropping into the ramp and tunnel and the double decker commuter train is on the upper track, that TGV is a freight train.

Happy to send you one of my rail wall lots if you're interested :)

I would absolutely be interested *:thumb:

And yes, that's the image I was talking about. Very good job on the reskinning of the trains. Is that something you can accomplish in Reader once you've drawing up the new livery?
