Well dadyrghluv, as you are an NHP supporter, I may carry on whether it meets standard or not. I can always host via fileden.

The biggest headache about uploading standards is the changing of all textures to get the ingame image.

When I make the HK map (I have checked for DEM - 90m is the only dataset available - I cannot type Chinese to do a good thorough search), it would be easier to hand it off to you.

Since this project is of interest to you, maybe we could work out a deal! I can provide the map, and you can change all the terrain textures to get the image via Region Census... whaddya think of that?

If that's the case, I may be able to get to it sooner. If you think the map compares to other NHP maps, I may give it the go-ahead for UL here at ST.

In fact, I may be able to fire it off tomorrow at the earliest. Like I said, upload packages, especially for famous regions just seem to take forever. Anyways, let me know bro!

Hello amazing map makers. I'd Like to make a request for a map of Summit County, Ohio. It's the county I live in. Can you make it to scale the best you can if possible? Including all the rivers and the canals?

http://www-agecon.ag.ohio-state.edu/programs/exurbs/Maps/Summit1.jpg

That's the best map I could find, but I'll let you guys work your magic.

I'd like to see a map of the region around Visby, Gotland; an island east of sweden in the Baltic Sea. I'd like it to scale and to have the map as big as possible covering as much of the island as you can. I really hope you guys could do this as I'm planning to do a CJ centering on the island of Gotland.

heres a map of Gotland: 263_8010_6.jpg

Nhp, I just found this thread the other day and absolutely stunned by your map-making. All the maps contain anything and everything I could have asked for in a map. I recently downloaded the Alanuk Region and am going to use it for my first cj (once i get a good computer to do it on that is, we'll give it a month.)

I have the Tokyo map, but is there a way I can rotate the picture? I'm having a lot of trouble because of all the diagonals. If the map could be rotated about 45 degrees, I think it would be much easier to recreate.

To all those that have requested maps here in the thread, I just wanted to let you know that most of those requests will eventually be made, but considering that at the moment my mapping partner beskhu3epnm is unable to access the 'net and that I just in the past 8 months learned how to do accurately scaled maps, it may take a little while longer.  I have dozens upon dozens of map projects going at once, most US maps with a sprinkling of some international maps.

As for the map projects I'm working on now here's a small sample:

US Maps:

1. Albuquerque - finished

2. Atlanta

3. Baltimore - finished - next upload

4. Boston - finished - next upload

5. Brunswich-Bath Maine - finished

6. Chattanooga - finished

7. Cleveland - finished

8. Columbus Georgia

9. Crater Lake Oregon - finished

10. El Paso - finished

11. Flagstaff - finished

12. Green Bay - finished

13. Hot Springs Missouri

14. Las Vegas - finished

15. Madison Wisconsin - finished

16. Memphis - finished

17. Milwaukee - finished

18. Mobile

19. Oahu [Future Mega Mini-Map Pak]

20. Olympia Washington - finished

21. Palmer Alaska - finished

22. Pensacola - finished

23. Phoenix - finished

24. Pittsburgh - finished

25. Portland Maine - finished

26. Providence

27. Tanana Alaska - finished

28. Ventura/Oxnard Ca. - finished

29. Washington DC - finished - next upload

30. Wasilla Alaska - finished

31. Colarado Springs/Pikes Peak region - finished

International:

1. Shanghai

2. Victoria British Columbia - finished - next upload

There will be more international maps on the project table soon......keep checking back periodically for updates.  Thanks for dropping byThumbs Up

First of all congratualations on all your hard work and maps...

I wasn't sure if could ask for technical support(this furom is full of " DOs"  and " DON'Ts") . Anyway I'm going to ask anyway.

Here it is: I just recently downloaded the 2006 NYC region and most of my BATs and some of maxis building's ground textures doesn't apper on the region but work fine in Maxi's regions...

Your work is awesome! I just moved to Wilmington, Delaware and would greatly appreciate if you could generate a region map of the area. It would not have to be very big as it is such a small city. Maybe only 3 by 3 large cities. I would love to be able to start a city journal for Wilmington. Thanks!

Since the NHP isn't as active on Simtropolis as they use to be, I would suggest making your request in the NHP Creations forum at SC4Devotion.

Regards,

Gary (Vandy)

After a long hiatus from map-making, I'm back....sort of. I recently found my Photoshop 4 disk and was able to re-install the program after getting my new triple-core processing motherboard, plus I also had the disk drawer fixed after it refused to open. Anyways, I'm not going full steam ahead making maps again, but will occasionally release a new map here and there.

The first is an accurately scaled map I took some liberties with and adding it to my series of 'Somewhere In The World' maps. This one is a river map and the data came from somewhere in the western hemisphere, though I can't remember exactly where. It is 10x8 [40km x 32km] large tiles in size and should be available within the next week to 10 days, but here's what it looks like...
