Is anyone able to make American homes that were built in the 21st century? The homes Maxis has usually don't resemble the houses I see around me. I use the American 4 Square Houses, but they're older. I'm talking about the houses you see in newly developed neighborhoods in suburbs. I think it's Colonial Style. Here's some pics. Some of the larger houses will probably need 2x2 $$$ while the smaller ones maybe 1x1 or 1x2 $$. I don't know about the sizes, but the wealth sounds right. But these are the kinds of houses i see in my neighborhood, and would really like to use them in the recreation of my city.

I got it working again, not quite sure which file it was. I took them all out and put them back in in groups, and the city played fine. Well thank you so much for your help Tungston, I know it was frustrating. Thank you.

Well the crashing happened way before I even had mods installed. But now it seems to be the reason for it. And it only happened on that city.

Well the thing is I had the crashing issue before I had the trees installed, I'll take them out anyways to see if that's the cause. Took the trees out, that wasn't the prob. I didn't think they were, I'll start sorting through my mods.

I did just install a tree mod. I'll try this out, thanks. And along with that mod I have the Landmarks With Jobs mod, I know the Big City tut has a landmark in it, I forget the land marks name, so I removed that file from the mod its self. Alright, I removed the Pulgins folder and reinstalled the city and the city worked fine, now i just gotta figure out which mod is conflicting. Or maybe the city will work if I put the Plugins back, lets see. Dosen't work with the plugins installed, any idea which one it could be?

Ok, I understand that. But I tested only putting the Big City file from the CD onto the MyDocuments/SimCity4/Regions/Timbuktu folder but the game still shut it's self down when I tried to play the Big City Tut in the game. All I want to do is roll back to the default, so I can replay the tutorial on it and have a city going again. Sorry this has gotten way more complicated then it should.

Wow, I knew the answer would be simple. It's been such a long time since I opened the case that I forgot there were 2 CDs. And don't worry, I know the basics of computers and how to find and install programs well enough to get around all the modding and such. Alright, so let me try this again. No use....... I put the city folder into each Timbukto folder at the same time, tried it, didn't work. I put the city into only one of the Timbuckto folders, trying each folder, didn't work. What am I doing wrong now!?

You really don't have to dumb it down that much. I'm telling you there's nowhere to get it from on the CD. When you say CD you don't mean my C Drive right? That's where my game is installed, you're telling me to extract it from the CD you need to play the game with. I'm just making sure we're on the same base. Here, I'll list the files that are on the CD: AutoRun, 00000000.016, 00000000.256, 00000001, 00000002, autorun, DRVMGT.DLL, EP1, GraphicsRules.sgr, Intro, RunGame, SC4, SECDRV, SimCity_1, SimCity_2, SimCity_3, Sound, VideoCards.sgr Either I'm looking in the wrong place, something's really messed up, or I'm confused or we're both confused. Sorry this is taking forever to fix, if I can't fix it soon I'll just reinstall.
