Wait, you can turn the disasters on? (I know you could in 2K and 3K, but not 4.)

Oh, and and you know you're playing SC4 too much when you find out how.

You know you're playing SC4 too much when the word 'zots' becomes part of your everyday conversation, as in:

"Zots! I'm late!"

"I think some zots would help."

"Great Zots!"

When you are looking at aerial views of real cities using Google Earth and look to the left of the screen for the bulldozer tool for some redesigning.

When you try to query and zoom in on other people's screenshots.

Let no one yield, we're on the field where deeds eclipse the sun; where the brave are told on a thread of gold, the tapestry is spun. As they speak of dreams, their armor gleams, this calm before the storm... Where all can see their destiny, the bishop takes the pawn.

When you find a way to work the game into unrelated conversations.

When you shave, start a session of SC4, and have to shave again when it ends.

If you have this dream that you're playing SC4 in your sleep and you can't fall asleep, and you're playing SC4 in your sleep and you can't fall asleep....and then you wake up and you're playing SC4: bingo.

When you look through a town that's barely on the map and noone's ever heard of and think, "is that on the STEX? I think I've seen that before. Did I download it?"

Or when you stare for a 10 minutes at the screen thinking it's an update or something and don't realize that the city just hada blackout.

Or perhaps when you look at downtown of an ugly city and think without thinking, "I need to download better ploppable skyscrapers and stop zoning and getting ugly cities!"

Or maybe when you play for hours and realize you haven't had breakfast, lunch or dinner and your stomach's been growling for hours and you are about to collapse in starvation.

Ooooor, maybe you dream you're running a city and just failed and had to run for Senator of Governor or whatever that thing says when you're 100,000 simoleons in debt.
