Above is a picture of Edmonton wrapped in a winters fog...

Boobster : Those Large region views are from a program called Region Census I think it may be on Simtropolis, and or SimCity Central. Its very handy and also gives you stats population stats for your region and all cities in it. You can view your regions without playing SC, so its definitly worth a download for any who play SC alot.

    brett,

I'm pretty sure skydome is the largest stadium...
    quote>

Skydome holds 50 000 in the seats http://www.glasssteelandstone.com/CA/ON/TorontoSkyDome.html

    Commonwealth holds over 60 000

Having undergone a $23-million facelift for the World Championships in Athletics, the stadium is among North America's finest, sporting a professional football field with and a state of the art Mondo 400-metre track. With seating capacity in excess of 60,000, it is the largest stadium in Canada and the only major stadium with natural grass. Home to the Edmonton Eskimos, Canada's National Soccer Team, major concerts and the 2002 Grey Cup. Also features a fitness centre with state-of-the-art weight equipment, gymnasium, racquetball and tennis courts

Looks great..Seeing i go to Roos Sheppard, i am very comfortable with the whole area..so it looks great, but most of the houses are one story bungalows, but tahts just being picky.

CobyCash : Yes this region can be downloaded. Since I made it by hand, all Teraformed I don't think I can put it on Stex. I give it out over MSN and I currently have over 50 members on my MSN with many more downloading it.
The only down side is all cities are pre labeled and some have Billions of dollars and others have next to no money left. This can be fixed by restarting any city each time you enter one.
To get a copy sign me up on your MSN,
    newjersey73@hotmail.com
I only transfer it over messange so no e-mail request please.

Vigo Zerox : Stationlands is and should be the great next project for downtown. I'm not sure when it will be done or in how many phases but after over a decade of no new Commercial towers this is great just to view.

I've got to wonder what the final population of this will be. Stats Canada's website was recently updated, and the metro population (not just the city) is officially over 1 million now.

Wow, i was just checking out the sports complex. I love it when you post the side by sides like that. That way people who are not familiar with the area can get an understanding of the level of recreation. I see that the little red building is there, and the little box shaped office was placed in front of the stadium to emulate how there is that architectual piece from the structure. im astonished

Behind the scenes I've been on a quest to make some lots to give cities a feel of realism for the rails. And I've run into many problems. Plus it doesn't help I don't know how to transit enable lots and edit there abilities.
    What I need :
    -A 1x7 Lot (Rail)
    -Transit Enabled
    -Under the Rail Menu
-Appear on Transit view of region as rail
-No need to be beside a road
-And to have the props stay there (not appear and dissapear)
-No need for power or water
    So far I have :
    -A 1x7 lot with props
-And all the other goals not met

This picture below is a zoomed in example of what I'm aiming for. I just don't have the means to do it. If anyone can help please post on this CJ.

When I'm have a working lot I want to make 5 or more lots that could be placed with rail. This will give cities a busy and realistic look aswell as something missing from the game.

I don't know if you've mentioned this before (and I don't want to jump too far ahead if you're still working on this), but what do you plan to do about the LRT and/or passenger trains?

Quito : The LRT is basic frieght track with passenger stations along it. And it being diagonal I only have the one track in that line..Not the LRT and CN rails...There just no room. Most every that is straight track in the city is more then one rail and in some places like the CN yards its 15 tracks wide. When it goes under ground I have a lot that will take the rail into the subway. I am nearly there near the York Hotel. As for the LRT bridge which has been posted I used elevated rail to subway....I am also thinking of Expandind the LRT south as thie cities is in the process of doing....Keep posted and thanks for the question....I like questions!

Hay it is I agian, I still think it is truly amazing that u can do all that. But since you gave me the region, I bought a map (Rand McNally), because it is the only map has the squares the will match up to a small city in the region. I just got the formula from one of your earlier post. So I am going to try and do the same thing because it'll be fun. 1.gif

and What do you use for editing your own buildings?? 42.gif
