    updatejpeggeup3.jpg

Not a lot of comms' but I may understand, small islands are boring.

Now let's go to the BIG Update. I wish to have an entire page and more of comments' because if not making another update in this page will crash connections. Lol, so in the Novaya Tulsk's Kremlin update, there's like 40 pics. The place? It's the siege of Socialist Thoulak State's Gouvernment. Here we can find the Parliament, some palaces converted in ministries, and other converted in museums. There's a mausoleum, some cathedrals (the siege of the Thoulakian Orthodox Church) multiple towers, some public plazas, fortifications, and finally 2 cemetaries.

Everything begins in 1554. The wood Novaya Tulsk fortress is totally destroyed in a fire. Only the Saint Birth Cathedral, built in 1401, is still there. Tsar Altimir Le Grand, after the travel of one of its diplomat in russia, thinks of a huge Kremlin. He wants to makes the area a reference for all surrounding kingdoms and makes them in submission to the Grand Duchy of Tulskovia. With the help of Italian and Croatian artists and architects, the plans are made for the construction. In 1571 the walls and towers are done and the Tsar wants some new constructions. He commissioned 2 palaces; The Longue Vue Palace and the Imperiask Garski Haus ; and also 3 cathedrals and a church, where the all new Thoulakian Orthodox Church would be based. Also workers built the Peters' Halle. All thoses projets would be latter finished, between 1573 and 1576. New projects are going on, like the Central Door, in 1583, the Summer Palace in 1598, the St. Altimir Cathedral in 1602 and the Cathedral of the Saint Supposition. After the death of Altimir The Great, Basil The Malicious becomes Tsar and takes control of Tulskovia and orders the building of 3 new towers, in 1605. Theses are the Vodovzvodnaya Tower and the Kerreski Towers I and II. After, he decided to start the building of l'Armory in 1711.

In 1791 the Grand Duchy of Tulskovia changes for the Royal Thoulakian Empire, and in 1792 the Arsenal Palace is innaugurated. But when David, a new Tsar comes to power, he wants the Arsenal to be partly destroyed for making a prettier and better taste palace. Workers start in 1843 and the Grand Kremlin Palace is finished in 1846. The most recent constructions of Novaya Tulsk's Kremlin are the Karl Marx museum (also known as the Archangel House) (1845), Lenins' Halle (1901), the Friedrich Engels Mausoleum (1924) and finally the Comrad Lenin's statue in 1932.

Today, the infrastructures are still in utilisation. The Cathedral Square is still an important place where the Thoulakian Orthodox Church is, and le Summer Palace is now the residence of Frank Zim Makia, the Life State Secretary of Thoulak. The Grand Kremlin Palace is the central place of the government's administration. Finally for the Longues Vues Palace and the Imperiask Garski Haus, thoses 2 are siege for the Department of Immigration and cultural affairs and for the Department of exterior military affairs.

Looks great - you've obviously put a lot of effort into designing the city and I like the backstory for Novaya Tulsk in general. Thoroughly enjoyed browsing through here. What castle walls are you using in those last pics?

Whoah. Nice kremlin. A lot of work and attention to detail has definetely gone into this, though I'm just stating the obvious. Wow, I'm just in shock at the location and the overral look of everything--the city building, the editing, the borders, the little communist signs on the structures. Wow...it's all so RED! Great job...

Yet me just say, in all honesty, that this is one of the most impressive updates I have ever seen on any CJ ever on ST. The level of detail and harmony you have here, the feeling you are trying to invoke, and the Kremlin style you are emulating- all come together in a visually dazzling way. I am truly impressed. You have raised the bar for eye candy. Congratulations for a inspiring update.

Thats just amazing! I'm blown away by the awesome factor! I can almost picture the parades with the rocket trucks and the soldiers marching around. Fannnntastic! Lots and lots of great pics. The detail was just great. I like that mist you've got in some. Very appropriate for a peninsula such as that. Very interesting history too. Reminds me of the pyramids in Egypt, where each pharaoh added onto the complex, keep up the great work!

    Replies:

xiziz: Thanks ! That's well appreciate. Oh and for the Grand Kremlin, I know it's the Munich City Hall but I  wasn't able to find it... For the south Arsenal Complex, here it is:

    The Arsenal is HERE ! ! !

    Shadow_Assassin: Thanks man !

ilikehotdogsalot: Cool, I have to say that your work too is really insane !

ryan04: Thanks, hope you'll like this update too !

SpecialEddie: I've worked hard for this and I'm really happy you figured it. That's cool you like it ! Big thanks for the comment.

Schulmanator: The bar? Wich bar?... Well now I'm scared you guys won't be that much impressed by standard suburbs and rural zones. Anyway, I'm truly happy of your comment !

emilin: Hope you like this update too! Thanks.

Poldi: Oh really? Personnally I don't know a lot of russian. In fact I say Novaya Zemlya in a map and I thought it was Novaya for "new". But if you say it. But I can't really rename the city, too bad, It will be gramatically wrong then... Thanks for sharing what you know.

poops2u, SoNell and bokrif: Big thanks !

Benedict: Mhhh... I have to say it took me a lot of time. I'd say 1 hour of Lot Editor and something near 6-10 hours for the Kremlin in SC4. But I like to see the final result so it's not a problem for me.

El Burro: Thanks, you are one of my inspirations for my CJ. Lol. No worries, I've planned to build your embassy in downtown, in a old 60's building. There's a lot of space there.

Giligone: Thanks man! So you can picture the parades, cool ! I should send a infantry regiment in your colonialist CJ to help you protect your land, lol !
