@ Artic did you notice something in that building list??

@ TheGreatCarolinian i got the name from watching the SPEED Channel while i was trying to get my cities name and the show Windtunnel was on and they were talking about motorcycles... and a maker of bikes, Duchati, came up. It just struck me as an orginial name so i used it...

@ simcitic yes i made that with NAM which is a godsend and needs to be on every pc with this game on it!!

@ Deathtoall well if you work at it i bet you can make a Downtown like this...

Well I seem to have missed the fact that I have a transportation center that's headquarters of the Wood County Highway Administration (or Authority?). That's quite excellent!

Hey TMS, I thought that was a pretty cool update.  It must have taken quite a bit of work to get all that straight.  BTW, I did get some of the little jokes you put in the building list, the first I got was 425 West Craven

Hey thanks for answering my last questions!  I have another one though.  You might think it's a dumb question, but I'm new at this.  How come when I download simtropolis lots, they dont show up in the game?  I think it has something to do with me not extracting or unzipping the files.  The files show up when I go into My Computer, but they dont appear in the game screen.  If this problem has to do with not unzipping the file, how do I unzip it?  Thank you very much!

if i need to say that there are many ways to do this but this is how i do it and it works fine...

you first need to save your BAT/Lot/Prop/etc in My Computer >> Program Files >> Maxis >> Sim City 4 [Rush Hour/Deluxe Edition] >> Plugins

then click on the file you want to extract and do this...





o yea if the extracted file does not look like that icon your done!

you need to download the simcity 4 update here:

and also make sure you have all the previous patches before you do the nightlight update otherwise it wont work
