I agree

a simple preview bat like the arrows jeronij uses for his walls or the BSC uses for their various parks and trails would be awesome

Yeah, I hate placing a corner piece and having to redo it four times.

Those new pictures look amazing, and ace, I already asked, but can you make a small doorway for ground walkways?

Dear Voltaire and ace_bovenopdeberg:

I would like to say how much I appreciate your outstanding and realistic works into airports and their related infrastructure. It has brought SimCity 4 Deluxe much closer to the real world than any other city simulator game released over the past several years.

However, I, as president of Natureside International Airport Ltd, request other planes to be made, like the B777, B787, A330, and A320, because all of the members of the Natureside International Airport Advisory Council, including myself, do not feel that the 747 is a suitable plane to be placed into this airport. Therefore, after this initial airport pack is released, we ask that you continue working on new planes to bring into SimCity 4 Deluxe.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely

Allan Kuan

allan: I know they are continuing the project with a Boeing 737 line.  I am making the Boeing 777 as well.  Filasimo is working on a Boeing 767 pack.  Xiziz may come in with an A320.

allan_kuan: Why don't you make them yourself instead of rushing somebody who has just put a lot of time and effort into creating something very awesome for the game to move onto the next thing because YOU feel they would be more suited to YOUR airport? Do you realise how long ACE and Voltaire have spent on these things? And after acknowledging their fine work you are immediately asking for more, that means more time and more effort. I cannot imagine how difficult this was for these two, and you have the audacity to ask for more? They will bring out more when they feel they can handle it, and when they have had the time.

Sorry for the rant, but that really annoys me.

Anyway, fantastic work, looking forward to a release date, and I'm also excited by these terminals that we can see!

I don't think he was immediately asking for more, but asking that the project be continued, once the 747 and CRJ are released. Though the 747 is freakin' awesome, I have to agree that it isn't exactly suited to smaller and medium sized airports.

However, these are great (love the new ramp texture, and terminal style). My airport menu is going to die, but it'll be worth it. Also, do the gate lots use random props for the planes, and if they do, will we be able to control which liveries will show up in the game?

Sorry... but I have no batting skills. Schoolwork also preoccupies me from learning how to bat something.

The new and ready 767 pack created by Albert Bouwan and released by Kumba might speed things up. Just the jetways have to be realigned to match the doors of the 767.

And yes... bwatterud... I was asking that new planes be made AFTER the initial airport pack was released... I will quote my earlier message so everyone can see what I wrote:

EDIT: I happened to credit the wrong person for the 767s. It is actually Albert Bouwan who created the wonderful models. Sorry for my mistake!

Dear Allan K,

Allan, the problem is the part of requesting in any manner, BAT-Requests are supposed to be here in the Offical Bat Request Thread. Unless the creator asks for sugestions in his own thread. Ace, nor Voltare have asked for people to put up requests here, hence please keep them in their apropriate location.

And that said, there will be more Aircraft after these. Airport Consortium are currently working with several aircraft unshown to the puplic yet. And more on the linup after said planes are released.

These aircraft will be released in due time aswell, and you should expect the same manner of time and effort put into them for them to be released with the same perfection as the B747-Series and the CRJ-Series. The Lineup currently includes not only Boeing and Airbus aircraft, but also Tupolev ones, and in the distant future, maby even Antonov/Sukhoi/Saab aircraft. However, i think i speak for all of us in AC, when i say we would rather decide what aircraft to Bat ourselves, since we are batting them with our free time(we all have education/jobs and a real life to attend to aswell), our effort, our sweat, our blood and we are batting them for OUR leasure!

    UPDATE

    hey there!

Got some more stuff to show you:

I was experimenting with these new models:

when I realised what kind of new stuff this made possible:

    pic1aa4.jpg

    pic3em8.jpg

This will allow you to create a lot more costum designs (off grid!). The only drawback is that the jetways can't connect on to them, so I'll need to make a few custom ones.

About the release date...I could get my modeling/lotting and modding done in about 1-2 weeks, but I don't want to rush the wonderfull work voltaire is doing2.gif.

Allen: i want to make very clear that the models are not kumbas he only rendered them the models do belong to albert bouwman site here http://www.projectopensky.com/downloads.php?aircraft=w5v03&location=northamerica the paintskins can be obtained from flightsim.com and other sites and that there is a project to release them by my team.

Ace keep up the good worki love the latest update and cant wait for them!

They're doing 737's?? Awesome, hope they include Westjet.

Edit: Dude, Ace, those are so awesome, but in your recent screencaps it seems you've left out the big awesome glass terminal pieces that you made.

Filasimo: Sorry for that error! It has been fixed now.

Ace: All I can say is that your work is stunning, realistic, grid-defying, and original! =) However, do you know if the jetways can connect to the opposite side of the airplane, or does it always have to be from the left of the airplane?
