I have stated elsewhere that I have been a general lurker in this forum for several days, finding inspiration for my own CJ and viewing the attitudes, perceptions, and methodologies of other city planners. I'm extremely concerned, right now, with how others have utilized BATs and MODs in their cities to enhance their look and feel I'm paying very close attention to those elements of other CJs as being a newcomer to SC4 I'll gladly take up all the aide and inspiration I can get.

I have a few CJs that I have personally found helpful and compelling at the same time during my "lurking" and I feel it's time to begin to shed that aspect and start dialog and posting in the CJs I respect. I've been browsing this CJ for several days just as I have Valmont and Anduin Valley and so I am stopping by to say hello. I definately have my eye on this CJ. Actively posting or otherwise. 2.gif

Sloppet: This is the first ever CJ I've read and I like it so far. The residential area looks very beautiful, I wouldn't mind living there myself... Oh, are CJ's always this popular or is it just yours? 4.gif

Looks very goot, except, I'm sorry for critisizing, but, I've never yet seen an area where houses would be surrounded by such a huge amount of trees. Except sommer cottages areas of course, but, for sommer cottages your houses look a bit ... capital.

yeah, i know what you mean...but i used to live in a suburb a lot like that with lots and lots of trees and little creeks(except the trees were all pines) so places like that do exist

Yes, I believe those homes are plopped. Also, the cars are on the sidewalks which is simply incredible. Well, whatever you are doing, it looks extremely realistic. CJs should look more like this.

I believe those cars on sidewalks are the latest project from Jeronij, a street modd with lots of trees and cars on the sides of the streets. Check the stex with the keyword "jeronij" , and you will find it. 2.gif

Nice update sloppet, could we see a region/city overall view?
