natuurzoon: Great terrain, perfectly placed trees and flora, and you did a great job at altering the colors.

It really gives off a warm tropical feel.

My only criticism is that you should get a new water mod. Water isn't that see-through in real-life, and it kinda kills the realism for me.

Other that that, great work! 8/10

South Copnor, a small station on the Great Central Railway as it passes through Northern Brenntia (The borough of Copnor). The Station has also changes on 2 Tube Lines and Car Parking facilities. The victorian shed adjacent to the station is South Copnor Traincare Depot, although small, the last Depot before reaching Brenntia Queen Elizabeth Station.

sanderson, I'll just come right out and say it. Make something worthwhile before you go bashing others work. I believe ill tonkso made that station himself. "nice parking" is the least of whats going on in there... thats a pathetic compliment as far as I see. You seem to say "too gray" or "nice parking" or some stupid comments far too often. Ever think for once that "gray" is the look they're going for, not all washed-out perky like you seem to beat with a stick? And don't act as if "maxis" is a bad thing, how it's presented is what counts. And finally... both you and aaronperry seem to LOVE picking on pictures when someone does something you don't completely love.

Fine, now blow that out of proportion and start an argument with me because of that. The rest of you may now start with the "that was harsh LP" and "who do you think you are getting off like that LP? he's trying his best" BS.

And no, I'm by no means attacking you, I'm just saying what needs to be said. I apologize.

I'd have to agree with LP here. Maxis isnt nessisarily bad but I know Tonkso is going for a british look. Which Maxis homes dont carry.

Sanderson - Anyone can plop something at an Ave. intersection, I'm not even going to rate it.

Also how do you know Husker Dude's village doesnt have an elevated commuter line which the workers go to work on eh?

Maxis is not necesarily bad in some cases,  if you re-lot them, most of the stuff actually fits in, also the quality of some of the maxis stuff is actually quite good too, (apart from some, some do seriously look bad), why else  do you think most BATters try to base the way of texturing on the maxis buildings? Also way to go bashing one of Tonks' works, it's not even a train station for christ's sake...

not to get anyone angry, but i do agree with LP. The Sanderson keeps turning down other people's work, and for the gray, ever thought of that those pics simply are gray. and i see you use the words, unrealistic, to gray and ugly trees a bit to much. and maxis buildings can be very good, we are just used to the custom content, that we don't really like it anymore.

About the LP:

-Nice parking:Year it´s stupid.But...same suggestions are be post here.I go try don´t post here.Excess of influences...

-Too gray-The too gray is normal on non-edited image, because you see here different in the game.To kill this, edit with microsoft photo editor and put + contrast to kill it.The image is better, with much easiness.

-About the Maxis buildings-I´m not the first of say this.Other members says for me "Too maxis" or "a bit of maxis,no?" and "too maxis, ugh".Here the examples of too maxis:

Pag.46

LP-the sanderson, skyscrapers don't belong there, parks are all maxis, ugh... love, build with love.

Pag.47

112233- The_sanderson- Those are handcarved Waterways witha a water texture, sorry you dont like my Gawdy editing

Fair Picture a bit dark and the maxis building make me unhappy...6/10

Aaronperry-The_sanderson i hate that maxis temple thing 6/10

Pag.49

112233-The_sanderson-A bit on the "Maxis" side but its still good 7/10

El burro-The Sanderson- Hmm, very Maxis-ie... the plaza could do with some life or foliage and the roads are bit too griddy from my tastes. 6.5/10

This is the examples, but have + criticizes of the maxis buildings. The LP is the first, and all say:"too maxis".

Why me?Because...

By chance, in the hour to rate, you make...justice?

It gives attention and rate all?

I confess that, because in the hour to rate I make downloads, I check emails at the same time.

And for the maxis buildings,i´m create a new forum(for LP,and others say "i agree with LP"):

The_sanderson - Too gray? Ever consider that people dont want it to be all hip and happening? At least most people here can post good pictures without the help of photoshop! I dont remember people touching up images of soviet bloc houses to make it look less gray. Dont rate on your style! Rate on the style of pic the posters are going for.

My good lord child... I understand English isn't your first language, but... man, that was HARD. Might want to type it into microsoft word or something and run the grammar check, fix things up a bit and let you see where your mistakes are.

The reason why people say your work is too maxis is due to the content in which you use it. You tend to use solid maxis in un-tamed and noobish layout standards. Unorganized, underplaned, underloved. you're getting much better, which would be the reason why you are getting much less of those comments.

Tegel-Jan.jpg

Look, thats SOLID maxis. But notice... it kinda looks nice, doesn't it? I just spent a bit of time with the layout and teraforming, and heck, I'm proud of it. Oh... and for the love all all thats good and holy, do NOT rate this one people, this is just some BAT-less version on my laptop.

So... this "gray". I think you say gray because of your lack of fluency in English. It isn't a bad thing, a common mistake. Probably... a better word would be "bland". True, most stock images don't pop, but so is the way in the real world. Take a picture of a tree, and it may look nice. Spend some time with photoshop and it looks amazing. Most people here are like me, looking for rating on thier work instead of the image itself, photography skills if you will.

But I digress... hrm... wow... that just took all my thought reserves I had in this illness-recovering state. 3.gif You should feel proud.

EDIT: DuskTrooper, now THATS a picture. Thanks for breaking the "disagreement" 2.gif

For what I see, maxis buildings, has varios meanings.

Maxis buildings cannot be organized, in the maximum, can be made the outskirts with them with realistic variations. I they too plan constructions of the maxis, the incomes etc…

They grow, but they go to repeat. Organization, you if relates, would be the places certain (more realistic) to place due incomes. Certain,i love to cause problems, in transit, or leave zones without benefit (security, health…2.gif.

“Without love”, I do not understand what you want to say with this, since it´s impossible to love things that are only gifts in the screen of the computer. And it does not arrive to be justification for the commentaries.

And the image is not of the good ones.It is ugly. Unrealistic for a $ area.

The gray  is a problem with the contrast of the image. In the normal album the contrast of the game has the done adjustment in accordance with simcity and not it contrast of a program any. The contrast must be increased, as well as other resources that I am unaware of. And moreover, the edition system is fast and easy.

About the realism, remembers that we live in different places. Our reality is different.

Also I am not proud, nor I give this definition for me exactly. My definition of proud is the person who if finds + another one for cultural differences, foods, reality… In this forum, for me, proud is that person isn´t rate everybody, for only shows he´s image.

And again... I understand mere fragments of what you said. 2.gif

You, probably without knowing it, just backed up my statements. You acused the game of having flawed lighting, and that a color fix is all the bit mandatory.

By love I mean passion, putting your heart, who YOU are into your build. What I see from you is bland, emotionless.

Dunno where you come from, but that low wealth area is quite common in northeast US. Your views seem once again to be harshly biased.

Lastly, I've heard it been said right before, so I understand that whole separate reality thing, wonderful realization it is actually. And, if you wish to take it that way, I'll simply back it up by saying you're forcing your own reality on others, while I sit here and explain to you their own realities.

Anyone can start a fight, but it takes a man to end it. Closing statement being said, lets put this all behind us and get back on topic.

I understand fragments of you speak too, and,it´s ok.I don´t understand the part of love and the mandatory.

About the reality, yes, here we can say "realistic" for the buildings, not for the structure(roads, areas etc...)

Ok,let´s end this discussion and respect owr differences.

"I am not superiority(sorry about the uncorrect expression)of you,and you not superiority of me."

This is the last message for this fight, belive, and now, trying justice,i go rate you, friend:

LP-Good avenue.The gray color(today i learned)is good for low wealth areas(for the U.S.A of course).In the next image,take a realistic $$$ area for the usa,plz.(8.5/10)

DruskTrooper-Nice image.These trees and house...these roads...(10/10)

Glenni-These grays buildings are "realistic" here and on U.S.A.Good low whealth building and avenues. The form of the quarter is good. The lefts buidings are very ugly.(8.5/10)

P.S-For the LP,i say again "but it´s ugly"(for me).
