Just checking in to see if Bermuda is still under consideration... glad to see it on the list.
And I agree that Saskatoon would be a good addition to your real world collection... I know I'd download it.

I've got a request for the mapp squad.  I don't imagine that this would be tough in the least to create, but I haven't the slightest how to create maps, and I figure if we've got a map squad, why not use them?!

My request is for a fictional map that is about half the size of the normal regional maps (because I've got a pretty slow computer) that has various islands of small, medium, and large sizes, with some tall mountains, but also (probably near the coastlines) plenty of area to build my cities.  Also, if you could make the region with all small and medium cities, that would be great, because my comp can't handle anything larger than a medium sized city.

Thanks alot, and someone could PM me (jglei701) and let me know about this request (or if you have any questions).

Thanks again!!

Mallow, you must be one of the most deticated request takers in a long time. I have to think of a way to reward good map squad members...

Seeing as I live in Portland, I'd be happy to do Coos Bay 2.gif.

But, I have to finish these international maps first... I've been taking a break from map making for a little bit so I could summon up the stamina to finish all these requests... and I think I'll begin today.

For those of you still waiting for international maps, I'm sorry I haven't done them yet. They will probably be released on Thursday or Friday. 19.gif

    Hi,

Recently I found the beautiful Antwerp Cathedral on the STEX. Since I live in Antwerp, the request is obviously: could you make an accurately scaled map of the Antwerp region?

Antwerp, Belgium is located near a large river, the Schelde, and it has lots of big docks. Actually, it's the second largest harbour in Europe (after Rotterdam). So the map would probably look a little bit like the maps of Rotterdam or Hamburg, which are already available, I noticed. The terrain is almost completely flat, so that shouldn't be too difficult.

Since I noticed that it's difficult to get accurate topographic information on non-American cities, I located the Belgian Geographic institute. Their website is http://www.ngi.be (in Dutch and in French). I don't know if any of the mapping tools on that page are any help, anyway, I could help you with the language if that is a problem.

Probably, there should be other maps on the Internet somewhere, but I don't know where. I could take a look, though.

Hope someone takes up the request, you're doing great work!

Anybody interested? Or are you too busy with the other maps (no problem, in that case, just want to know...)?

You might need to use the Landscape Designer to change it into the proper format. That should solve your problem.

However, next time please post questions like these in a different thread. 29.gif

As for the requests... well... I don't like admitting this, but...

I have had Real Life Syndrome recently. This is why I haven't been doing much here. I think I'm still recovering, so please be a bit patient. 16.gif
