These are some spectacular pictures! I'm curious how many of you plop a lot of the major scrapers...I want to get downtowns that look like that - do most people get them to grow like that or are they plopped?

iamihop11: For making realistic looking cities most would plop the buildings. Some people get their skyscrapers from using radical ordinances or the CAM mod, but they give you less control over which buildings grow.

wow Yuckky, the parking lots in the downtown is absolutely crazy!!

Yuckky (no pun intended), shrink the scrapers and dim the lights a couple notches and you'll have downtown Detroit.

Cool representation of downtown Houston, and the only thing missing is the Bank of America Tower, available as a landmark in SC3KU,  It's about time someone made a CJ of a city from my home state.

I would also like to see a SCJournal of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Here is a one of my skyscraper districts currently under construction. 

As you can see some buildings have been completed, the Burj Dubai in the centre will be completed last and will be the tallest.

Hey here's my skyscraper district with no plopable buildings, except the JH Center, from Laurent. I was thinking "chicago" at the time, so explains the river through the downtown.

I know. The city government (me) wants to move away the City Airport into the high tech industrial district to the east, and replace the place with future skyscrapers and the airport tram will be constructed.
