Rubik, if I recall on the edge between the roof and the wall of the buildings, there were lights that almost resembled a christmas light effect. I'll see if I can post a picture later today. -

I like your idea of a prop pack which would include memorials, so people who want to place them would be able to. ---------------- ...and to the rescue I came... Images Explain Themselves. Hope you enjoy. These were taken from the 9-11 DVD. Credit for these publishings given to thier owners. -

The Marriott might need to be slightly lowered because it was about half as tall as the lowest sky lobby of the towers ( here is a picture). Also, I'm not sure about the south tower, but the north tower had an awning at the West Street entrance (I haven't yet found pictures on the Internet; maybe DoubleJ or kid_a can help). For the plaza, will you include props like food stands and souvenir kiosks as part of the planned prop pack, or just leave the plaza as-is?---------------- I'm on it, I have pics! haha, although it's from 9-11 after the first impact. I say you go for the shadows to make it more realistic, since that's what you've been going for since the dawn of this project. But, whatever looks the best is fine with me. As for what age you want the world trade center to be: go for the 2000 or late 90s era when the WTC and Downtown manhattan was at it's zenith before september 11th, that way it brings out the best on the towers and what the WTC project stands for. As for an issue, is there a way that you can have a tower without the 25,000 jobs, like I know there was an edit for the Empire State Building and the Bank of America tower that would allow jobs, but not let the buildings become abandoned. It's not major but I think it would be a nice enhancement. The thing I would love to see is the WTC to increase the amount of traffic within the area, increase pedestrian movement around these buildings, and the underground complex become functional, and generate jobs and revinue. Also what would be extremely nice if you could make the complex's parking garage become fully functional, and have freight, misc trucks, such as movers come in and out (for new tenants), and of course, normal cars. Plus maybe having the hotel act like a resort hotel w/ jobs. I'm sorry if it seems a bit much, but it would be amazing. As always, amazing work so far, and grat job. Pics and stuff may take a day or two because my computer network is down and i'm on another computer, argh. PS: I may start work on the new WTC 7 tower that's being built, as soon as my bat skills are good enough, though. I've basically started fiddling around with BAT, I have a good idea going, but still some stuff needs to be fixed out. If you don't mind rubik, or if you wanted to do the following buildings, i'll let you do them. But basically my work will follow as in order, and i wont give up here, so let the following projects begin in this order: -New 7WTC (Now under construction) -Deutsch Bank Tower -World Financial Center -

I would love to see some of your other pictures.---------------- Unfortunately no, I don't. All the images i've gathered are off my TV program from watching tv, DVD screenshots (such as the Center of the world and the 8 others to my collection), and images i've found online. Yeah, i'm a bit obsessive... I may put together a zip file of a ton, or an online directory, but i'm not sure right now. One thing for certain, now that I've gotten the hang of posting images on here, there will be a lot more for the WTC project. -

Rubik if you want I have various satellite and arials of the complex and the complex details from the ground that I can post, but that's up to you if you want to finish the hotel first or not. The images above appear to show that the roof had outer walls going up 10-20 feet to cover up any other roof stuff to make the hotel appear to be clean. Towards 1wtc there is a large building on top of the roof, but can not be visible due to the outer walls. Towards 2 WTC there is a smaller version of the building that can not be seen due to the walls (I believe that is located on your BAT Model where the location of the glass structure is). Various other small details can be made out on the roof, but I can not explain them in full detail. Basically that's why everything was so hard to see, cause the exterior outer wall extends into the air to cover the roof. =)
