Eburess: I'll look for your version.  The similarities are pretty obvious. This one is being uploaded as I type, so it should be available in a few minutes.  I didn't do the extended base as the RW one, as I couldn't gat a good picture of it.  Also, I think it will work better in game without it.  I made several size lots for it, but it also fit s real tight on a 2x2 lot.

Nice to finally see the Sheraton finally out. If you can hold off until Tuesday, I can get the Ritz vans done for you. BTW, you forgot to credit me for the vans in your description on the STEX. I forgive you because I understand that you are very busy.

Swamper: my sincere appology.  I got a little carried away trying to redo my readme files, as it seems I get daily PMs asking where the missing overlay textures are.  I got so involved in that, I forgot to update the credits.  Thanks for your help and support.  The Ritz won't be released for a while at least.  I'm waiting for Daeley to get back from vacation to help me with the reward settings.

 

This has also been a BSC project, with help from various team members.  It appears our whole team concept is being attacked right now, so I'm not sure when this or other BSC projects will be available.

Hey SG, your retail and grocery lots are awesome. I downloaded the majority of them. Problem is, the parking lot is there but the pavement doesn't show, instead, it's grass or something. Can you or somebody help me figure out what to do?

The answer to that problem was mentioned a couple pages back, I think.

You need to download texture packs from the STEX.

I'm pretty sure it's the BSC PEG Overlay Pack, check the readme to be sure.

I've downloaded about 5 texture files already and I'm still getting green instead of pavement on my parking lots. Can somebody tell me which one(s) is(are) the right texture(s)I need to download to get pavement please?

The basic parking lots are in the PEG overlay pack, which was uploaded by tthe BSC teams.  Be sure to unzip all the files, as there are zips inside the zips.  There are some new custom ones I made, (corners), which Geoffhaw added to the BSC texture pack, and updated on Saturday. You'll need the most current version to get all the parking lots to show up.

Oh, I've got a couple things on my plate.  More hotels, as listed.  Right not I decided to do something small and simple, which I'll have a pic of later today.  I'm working on one more fire house, a more suburban looking one.  It's close to done, and then I'll start another hotel.

Good to hear more fire houses are on the way!  I don't even use the game ones any more.  Now I really hate requests and this really isn't one, but I have to ask if there is any plans on doing similar police stations.

I never thought of a Police station.  Maybe some day...  Here's the Suburban fire house.  It's a fictional design, though I got inspiration from several RW pics I saw.

 

I also started work on the Marriott.  It will be a longer project; getting this far was the easy part.  The outer walls are fairly easy to make; it's the details that take up time.  Hopefully, this will be ready in about 2 weeks.

Wow, once again you have made some great looking BATs. I would definately like to have that suburban fire house in my cities, I also love all the hotels you are doing. Keep up the great work, PS; that Sheraton is excellent

The Ritz is waiting for some modding help from Daeley, who is on vacation. It will probably be October before it's done, as I will also be out of town for two weeks starting Saturday.  I'll have my laptop, but work and interenet access will be sporadic.

 

Phew, I just got over a minor scare.  BAT went batty on me, and lost all kinds of commands.   I had to do a complete re-install, but everything came back ok.  Something must have gotten corrupted somewhere, but the re-install seems to have fixed it.

I did a lo res export of the Marriott, and found some major flaws.  Not unexpected, but the lobby is on the wrong end... oops...

I started a parking garage to go on this lot, and got a little carried away.  I think I'll end up using it as a separate lot as well...  Still a few details to tweak, but I like the overall.

Hey I was thinking for a bit.. Those cars will not be on the road at all? Maybe if you use the props in the game.. But if that doesn't work.. why dont you ask Swamper? you make these cars?

The cars are completely separate from the game.  To my knowledge there is no way to import BAT models as automata.  The cars Swamper has been doing for me are made a completly different way.

 

FYI All.  In about 10 hours, I hop on one of many planes, and will be on the road for about 2 weeks.  I'll be checking in sporadically, but may go several days without access, depending on the hotels I am booked at.  5 different cities on this trip, and a really hectic schedule.  Trade shows, sales meeting and the like.....
