This map was rendered from a NASA satellite image of the Sakha Region in eastern Siberia in mid-July. Unusually warm temperatures during the period have turned the normally frozen tundra into lakes and rivers. The Volyoi Mountains are visable in the upper portion of the map. Hope you this map and the one that follows.
