note from the modds section redaction: If you already have the Network Addon Mod (NAM) you should not install this mod. This mod is also included in a variety of files that come with the NAM. It is strongly recommended to remove this mod before installing NAM.
Welcome to the second version of the Transit Supermod. This SimCity 4 Rush Hour mod introduces several improvements and bug fixes into the game. This mod is highly modular, and offers several "sets" of .dat files from which you can pick and choose to configure the game to your personal liking. This mod, depending on the set of .dat files you choose to use, can offer simple imrovements over the default settings, cause radical changes, or cause moderate changes that can even increase the challenge of the game.
The Transit Supermod is the precursor to a series of plugins for DatGen called the ModCop plugins. These plugins will include TrafficCop, essentially a port of Larsz TrafficCop program with some improvements (with his permission), AutomataCop, which allows you to adjust and configure the automata simulator settings, and DemandCop, which will let you adjust and configure how demand works and is affected by other aspects of the game. Until the ModCop series of plugins is released, the Transit Supermod v2.0 will allow you to easily apply a preconfigured style of gameplay to your SimCity 4 Rush Hour installation. For those who preferr not to get into modding of any kind, thise mods will suffice even after the release of the ModCop series.
About The Mod
This mod, as stated previously, is broken up into several .dat files. There are 16, to be exact. DO NOT INSTALL ALL OF THESE FILES!!!! You must choose a set three out of these 16 files, mixing and matching them from three groups, to configure the game to your personal liking. The sets of files, and what they do, are as follows:
Traffic Simulator Mod
Traffic Simulator (BETTER VERSION)
(Note: Improves pathfinding moderately, slight increase in CPU usage.)

Plugin_DM_TransitSupermod_TrafficSim_PathfindingBETTER_LoCapacity_v2_0.dat - Improves pathfinding, low capacity increase
