Here is my first accurate scale map of Kaikoura, New Zealand. This map will be followed be many more New Zealand maps.
Kaikoura is world famous for its whales, as the town is on the verge of a deep trough. The humpback is most common but blue whales have been seen before. Dolphins and many kinds of native birds, including the albatross can be seen once you head off shore.
