About This File
If Edgeton Clffs was Starscream, Montcalm is Megatron.
This is the second map in the series, "South Side of the Sky". Featuring northern, mountainous terrains that are good for peg's Mountain Terrain mods.
Observe carefully! To render this map you will need the following, and I quote:
"You'll need the Terrain Climate Mod by Mayspacy to render this map & many others properly. Extract this file "ImageImportModWithTerrainMax3300mOnly" to your plugins folder."
The water is, I believe 'peg_stream' -- water designed to match the color of Pegasus' streams.
This map is 1025 by 1025, but do NOT use the default config (eventhough you could, z0mg!) because it will put the cliffs, rivers, plateaus and canyons in the wrong place.
This map isX-tremely challenging, maybe, or not. I've been playing it for the pastday, and my conclusion is that it is best to start in the river valley.
Be mindful- you can build a street up the cliffs in themedium-sized areas (even though it creates a wild and amazingterraforming accident!)
The mesa in the center can be scaled by building a tunnel through it. (I was expecting something different, but that is what the game did!)
Be warned, the cliffs could, and might, take all of your belongings andmove to Newfoundland, so be careful not to mess with them.
If the mesas/cliffs are too rough for your taste, use the god mode'smoothing' tool to round them off. Simply rendering the map willcreate an effect not unlike the surface of a coffee cake. Speaking ofcake, make sure you don't use 'snowcapped lower' if you are doing thesnowcapping as shown in the pic. If you do, it will look like frostedcake.. or gingerbread..
Enough! I command you, enjoy! ![]()

PS: let me know if something is intractably erreneous. The really steep rivers+cliffs are kind of still in beta ![]()
