After trying to to upload this about 4 times (my computer deciding tohang on the other three - not fun, I assure you), and being plauged byfrustrating adverts in the process (not from SimTrop, I can assure you,am promply downloading a spyware killer), I am FINALLY able to bringyou the Metropolitan Transportation Mod. Heavily based on the Melbourne Transportation Mod, a joint work of lakeyboy and thejerseydevil73 (That is, If I got the number right!).
This mod addresses the one and only issue I had with lakeyboy's andTJD's effort (great work guys!) - and that is the fact that roads andstreets were the same colour. Streets are now an off-white colour,although streets aren't on the key (partially because I thought itwould be overkill - given that everything else is labelled, it's agiven, and partially because I quite frankly can't be bothered at thispoint).
While it's a simple revision, I think the image speaks for itself - Ipersonally think it's a huge improvement (not to put down the effort ofthe original creators of course - the Melbourne Mod certainly hasearned its salt). I guess it's all a matter of personal opinion.
I also thank the creators of the various modding tools I use - without them, I wouldn't have a clue what I'm doing.
I hope people enjoy this simple revision to an excellent source mod.Given that I have my holidays coming up, I might consider doing a few more *ambitious* mods.
I have given it a different name to differentiate between the two mods.
