Wanted to take a break from Dubai assets atleast for a while and try out some new architectural styles. So my first WIP is the Tribune tower located in Chicago. Still got some detailing and that sub-building left to do before I can start working on textures, but let me know what you think sofar...- 3 Replies

The Chicago BAT Team is proud to release its debut to the STEX! The Tribune Tower is one of the most iconic buildings in Chicago today. Built from 1923 to 1925, it's design was arrived at by a contest celebrating the Chicago Tribune's 75 years of operation. Over 258 architects sent designs in, but only one could win. This was awarded to Raymond Hood and John Mead Howells. Their design featured an art deco facade and a neogothic crown, adorned with gargoyles and 8 flying buttresses, creating an effect similar to a cathedral on top of a skyscraper. The building was then built near the Chicago River next to the Wrigley building. It was one of, if not the greatest Chicago building in the early 1900s. Today, it is equally impressive, and stands tall in the skyline. Thankfully, it is still owned by the Chicago Tribune, who have kept it looking beautiful after almost 100 years. Now for the nitty-gritty Included are several CO$$$, stage 8, growable lots for the chicago 1890 tileset. 2x4 (w2w friendly ) 3x4 and 4x4 The stats are: Jobs: 1,575 CO§§§ Consumption: Power: 89 Water: 971 Pollution: Air: 7 over 6 tiles Water: 6 over 7 tiles Garbage: 4 There is also a landmark ploppable version 4x4, LM effect of 40 / 256 tiles, mayor rating +6 / 256 tiles plop cost: 110,000 upkeep: 115/month Besides that, it has identical stats to the growable version. If you don't like/don't want the flags, they are added as props, so just delete the flag folder from the upload to get rid of them. P.S.S There's some unused props in this that I forgot to leave out, you guys can use them if you want, wasn't planning on uploading them but they are the fountain props you see in the files.
