Gelati monastery is a medieval monastic complex near Kutaisi, in the Imereti region of western Georgia (Caucasus). A masterpiece of the Georgian Golden Age, Gelati was founded in 1106 by King David IV of Georgia and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Historically, Gelati was one of the main cultural and intellectual centers in Georgia. St. Athanasius Orthodox Church This is a ploppable landmark lot (3x4) based on the former St Constantine and St Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Detroit (now Power of Word Ministries). Plop Cost: 0 Monthly Cost: 0 Power Consumed: 8 Water Consumed: 7 Dependencies: None ***Please be aware that this upload is more of a beta version. The final intent is to finish this project off as a 4x4 lot complete with a parochial school and church offices, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to finishing that. Either way, I wanted to get something out there for everyone to enjoy. Ideally, I would have liked to release this as a custom reward with building statistics the same as the Maxis House of Worship. Unfortunately, my modding skills are limited and most of the programs I would need to use to do that don't seem to work with my computer. As a result, there are no custom icons, query descriptions, etc. for this lot.***- 19 Comments

NYBT presents S. Nicholas Orthodox Greek Church. The ol' Greek Church I did for NYBT not too long ago(well...maybe about a half year) is back on the STEX! Modded and everything, thanks to Gwail for that and for keeping it safe. The St. Nicholas Orthodox Greek Church was once located in the Financial District of New York right across the street from the World Trade Center. Despite its small size and odd location, the church had a good amount of members attending it always. It was unfortunately destroyed in the September 11th attacks. Ploppable Landmark Only. Two Versions included. W2W Version, and a non-W2W version with the size of the real one. W2W Lot Size- 1x3 Real Life Version Lot Size- 3x3 Plop Cost-..........well I can't actually remember...I forgot to write it down...I think its about 10,000 or slightly higher...someone post a comment to confirm the plop cost please.
