This is my first map I created. The Map is based on the Upper Ionian an area of Calabria. The map has is accurate although there are small creative freedoms in the mountain areas with the addition of possible places for mountain villages and lakes. Map size: 60x60 Type: real world, accurate scale Recommendations. For this map we recommend the use of CPT Italia (Terrain and Controler Trees). However, other mods that make the terrain and trees similar to Southern California/Mediterranean are recommended. Only the SC4M file is available for this map so you must use sc4mapper. The grid of the map is almost aligned with the locations of the real cities present in the Upper Ionian of Calabria but you are free to change the composition of the grid Thanks @Lucario Boricua for the help he has given in creating the grayscale and other technical problems LICENSING: This map is provided as free content to SimCity 4 players, who are free to modify it for their use and for production of derivative maps for publication. ..::ENGLISH::.. This map is a map 3,5x5 of the Calabria. It has 8 large and 9 medium-sized regions. The rest is just water. Rivers, lakes and the mountain ranges are the same way as in real life. I hope you like it! I created this map using only Photoshop CS5. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Start SC4 and create a new region (no matter the type - water or land) and call it Calabria (or as you prefer). 2. Quit the game or reduce it to an icon and go to C:\Users\your name\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\Calabria. 3. Copy both files .bmp files in that folder and return to the game. 4. Get into another region and then returns to the newly created (so that the game will load the file confing). << * Skip this step if you exit the game. 5. Hold down CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + R, go to the folder C: \Users\your name\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\Calabria and select calabria.bmp. 6. Wait few minutes and ... It 's all! ..:: ITALIANO ::.. Questa mappa è una mappa 3,5x5 della Calabria. Ha 8 grandi regioni e 9 medie. Il resto è solo mare. Fiumi, laghi e le catene montuose sono allo stesso modo come nella realtà.. Spero vi piaccia! Ho creato questa mappa usando solo Photoshop CS5. ISTRUZIONI: 1. Avviare SC4, creare una nuova regione (non importa il tipo - acqua o terra) e chiamatela Calabria (o come preferite voi). 2. Chiudere il gioco o ridurlo ad icona ed andare in C:\Users\tuo nome\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\Calabria. 3. Copiare entrambi i files .bmp in questa cartella e tornare al gioco. 4. Entrare in un'altra regione e poi rientrare nella nuova (così facendo il gioco caricherà il file confing). <<* Salta questo passaggio se hai chiuso il gioco. 5. Tenere premuto CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + R, andare nella cartella C:\Users\tuo nome\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions\Calabria e selezionare calabria.bmp. 6. Attendere qualche minuto e... E' tutto!
