Well thats kind of dumb on their part...I mean the point of it only being available on the SimCity4.com was so you can't get the files if you have a boot leg version of SC4....you need a valid key to download them. And you also just made it known that someone could create a site similar to the STEX....copy everything off the STEX and tell Dirk to go screw himself. None of it can be copyrighted so it's all just an honor system....but thank fully the could not make money of it so what would be the point.

Things seem really bad, but the truth is 100 years ago people did not know what was going are around the world as it happened. Things are actually getting better with every generation. The major problems stem from uneducated people who think it's okay to kill another over something as stupid as what imaginary friend they talk to or filling there pockets with more money then they could ever spend. All I know is that none of us here would ever think of killing each other over something so stupid...and people are here from all over the world. I would be nice if we could solve all of our problems over night but the world just does not work that way.

Well I donated $20 to Simtropolis over two weeks ago and I never got a STEX CD, I have no idea who/or how I can contact some one at Simtropolis about it....any one have any ideas?

Hummm, well I am in New York USA, I guess I will give it another week. I had called the post office earlier in the week and they said it should only be like a week...but any one in the US knows the Post office is FARRR from perfect here, Thanks for your help.

It's hard to get the hang of a first, but once you do, your cities will become 1,000 times better. You sims are stupid and you have to treat them like cattle from time to time and herd them in different directions.

I was talking to a friend a few weeks ago who was in NYC, she said it looked as if nothing was started at ground zero....well if they say it will be done by 2010 the better get a move on I guess.

I had such high hopes for SC5 also....I will never understand why they would want to make it match up so much with the Sims2. Also I have herd that the game has had major problems and the videos on You Tube are very deciving about how how meny bugs they have had to work on...but still this is normal when making such a complex game. All I know is I wont be buying anything till the prices start to drop, I don't even want to know what the price for Spore is going to be.

I herd the is someway of copying a CD in "Binary" but I have now idea how....on the plus side the game is only like 15 bucks now.

Ummmm what are you computers specs? Sorry to say it but I think you might just have an older computer that can't handle Sim City....you going to need to make sure you have no other programs running and all visual settings turned off/set to low.
